We hired Hector and his team at Ten Colors to paint our entire house inside and out. They painted ceilings, walls, doors and trim inside plus the garage walls and they applied a stain to refresh a back yard deck. We couldn’t be happier with the results they achieved. They even installed a replacement door. The entire team was responsive to our needs and detail oriented. The price was fair and they were friendly and competent. They displayed good follow up on our concerns and cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend them.

The end result was ok but I’m definitely not happy with this company. Took over a month to finish painting the exterior of my house. Everything was painted over without fixing the walls. I had to tell them to fix the walls and repaint as planned. I had to constantly ask to fix and repaint or retouch the areas that were not done well. They left stains all over that they were supposed to remove. Even that part was not done well and I had to do it myself. Regular trash was thrown in the recycle bin and was never removed as promised. Overall messy and not very professional work. There was a young crew doing the job. They were nice but not supervised as they should have. Would not recommend, would not re-hire.

Thank you for the review. We are sorry you feel this way. We had a limited staff due to a few members being sick with COVID-19 which caused us to take longer than expected painting and the team being shortstaffed. We communicated this to you. Also, the job was extensive due to the wall damage you had. The walls wee repaired and left smooth. See projects on profile for pics. The team had the owner coming by to supervise and we were in constant communication with you to meet anything you broughtt to our attention and get it fixed to your liking immediately. We also did two walk throughs during the project for your feedback. We pressure cleaned and remove all stains on the front and back patios. In addition we did additional work beyond what was quoted- painted French doors, removed fence door , frame repair and painted part of the old fence at no additional cost. also provided a credit for the delay and towards paint cost. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
after an initial consultation over the phone or email with pics, I like to do a walk through as there are things one cannot see through pics to give a final estimate. Once we have the estimate locked in, I can begin working on the project. I like to provide a daily summary to the client. if I run into something not seen during the estimate that may raise the price, discuss with the client to find a solution that fits their need and budget
