- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Organizing is something I have done since I was a little girl in elementary school. I've always just done it. It comes naturally. My mom is due credit though. She's always been super organized and clean. I appreciate her so much for being the way she is. Thanks mom!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always had a “thing” for organizing. Even as a child in grade school my neighbor would pay me to organize her kids toy room, and I loved every minute of it! Fast forward ten+ years. I received my Bachelors Degree in Nursing in Nashville, TN, my hometown. After working in the nursing field for three years, I made a jump to Marketing and Sales. Still, I was very unsure/confused of what I needed to be doing professionally to feel fulfilled. In 2019 I moved to Miami and accepted a corporate job (and hated it). Let’s just say the corporate world and I have very different philosophy’s on how to do life. When the COVID pandemic hit in 2020, I was laid off from my job like so many others. A true blessing in disguise. Jobless and unable to leave my home, I began doing what I do best- Organizing. It wasn't until quarantine that I had the opportunity to refocus on this passion, and in 2021 Homeology was born transforming my hobby into my livelihood. COVID gave me the courage and I'll always be grateful that something good came from something so bad. I’ve always wanted to work for myself doing something I love. I sincerely love organizing. It’s like a puzzle to me, figuring out how things fit best. My goal is to empower people by taking back control one organized space at a time. I'm a natural born care caretaker, and organizing allows me another way to help others improve their quality of life.
