FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hiring a personal trainer can be challenging, but if you follow this basic checklist you can choose the right trainer for you. 1. Ask if your trainer is certified and insured. Almost all gyms require their trainers to be certified - it shows that they are a professional who is serious about their work and that they have a baseline amount of working knowledge. 2. Ask if your trainer is full-time. Part-time trainers aren't the best choice because you will inevitably have conflict with their "day job" and your training will come secondary. 3. Make sure your personalities mesh. As with all social scenarios, ensure that you don't find your trainer insulting, boring, or just off-putting.
