Pasquale Strizzi is a highly accomplished pianist and music producer, who began his classical piano studies at the age of three. In 2011, Strizzi was selected as the sole pianist for the “Global Jazz Institute” program directed by world-renowned pianist Danilo Perez. After completing his degree in Jazz Composition and Performance, he moved to New York City, where he joined two-time Grammy Award winner Casey Benjamin’s band “HEAVy”.
In 2017, Strizzi joined Marcus Miller’s band on the Afrodeezia European Tour. As a music producer, his productions have been released by major labels such as Sony Music, Columbia Records, Universal, Disney Music, Ropeadope, Sam Records, and EGEA Music.
Despite his young age, Pasquale has already played with many world-famous artists such as Marcus Miller, Wayne Shorter, John Patitucci, Casey Benjamin, Siedah Garrett, Ben Street, Meshell Ndegeocello, Alissia Benveniste, Dave Liebman, Terry Line Carrington, David Gilmore, Greg Osby, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, and Giovanni Tommaso and many more.
As a seasoned musician with extensive experience performing alongside some of the most renowned icons in the music industry, I have developed an understanding of the skills and mindset required to excel at the highest level. While a formal education in music is important, it does not substitute for the practical knowledge and experience gained through professional performance.
As a music teacher, I recognize the significant role I play in shaping the development and success of my students. It is of paramount importance that I am not only highly knowledgeable in my craft, but also actively engaged in the professional performance world in order to fully understand and prepare my students for the demands of the industry.
I strive to understand my students' passions and interests in order to tailor my lessons to their specific musical goals and preferences. This approach allows me to effectively guide them on their journey to becoming accomplished musicians.
