About this pro
I really like Axel's teaching method. It is very technical so it allows me to understand well what I need to do in order to improveFeb 20, 2018Verified
He told me to drink ice water before I sing high notes, release all the air before I sing a high note, and look up as it 'opens everything up'. All of this information is the complete opposite of good technique and care. I arrived 10 mins early for my lesson as I would expect anyone to and he was just getting out of the shower. He charged me $60. Find someone who knows what they are talking about!Jul 10, 2017VerifiedAxel S. O.'s reply
Thank you for your review. As you know., i was punctual, I'm receiving you in my home. My comment was, if you are willing to be open minded and explore? you may discover something new... 40 plus years teaching? I"ve been doing something right? and 40 plus reviews in different websites...all mostly 5 stars? I thank you for allowing me to teach you something new.. :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I listen to my student and do my best to tailor the lessons for their specific needs. I tune in their particular pace of learning so they don't become overwhelmed or bored...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, music is open ended, we have to stay on top of constant changes, methods, styles, etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My passion for the arts, specifically music! I started at an early age (10 years old) self taught until i could afford lessons... then my teachers made a huge difference!
