Scott’s work ethic is matched by only a few, he has never been anything but professional in the classroom or workplace. His passion for teaching creates an excitement in the lesson and a willingness to learn. Rather than just reading a lesson plan, Scott involves the students and encourages conversation on the topic at hand with student comprehension taking priority. As a coworker Scott has always been respectful and open to cooperation among his peers. In the EMS field we are always looking for ways to improve our skill set as well as those around us. Scott has always been open to another point of view and to learn from others’ experiences as well as sharing his own. I have no doubt that any interaction with Scott will be anything less than a valuable learning experience that can be used in and outside of the classroom.

I attended Scott's basic EMT course when he was instructing at American Safety programs in Rhode Island. As someone who is currently pursuing a master's degree, I am very well versed in knowing a good teacher. I can honestly say that Scott is one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of being in the classroom with. Scott understands that students differ in their learning styles and thus provides different methods of teaching to combat this obstacle. I found that Scott has a rare ability to break down complex information into a more concise form and express said information into more relatable terms for his students. In addition to teaching the skills one needs to be an EMT, Scott also prepares his students for taking the national exam. I found Scott's tips on how to prepare for the exam and how to physically take the exam to be vital in passing on my first attempt. Overall, I can confidently say that my skills and abilities would not be as sharp without having Scott as my instructor. Lisa I. EMT-B

Phenomenal learning experience and so much knowledge gained in a very short amount of time. Scott takes his students under his wing to ensure they fully understand the material, in a very systematic yet direct way which enhances cognitive and psychomotor knowledge. The classes are very well structured and equally well delivered. By far the best learning experience I've had and took so much away from the entire experience. Fantastic instructor and fantastic classes!

Scott is a very knowledgeable, passionate, dedicated instructor. He has a special way of making things clear and stick with you. I would highly recommend considering his classes if you want to learn the "correct" way things are done and become proficient in the skills.
