Florida Safety & CPR, LLC
About this pro
Everything about our experience with Florida Safety and CPR LLC was great. Scott and team were responsive from the very first phone call and worked around our chaotic schedule. They were a great value for the service rendered.Jun 22, 2018
I first met Scott Cutting back in Sept. of 2013 at American Safety Programs and Training of RI where they teach EMT classes. He was the I/C of my EMT- basic class. From the very beginning all the way to the end of class and then some, Scott was there helping the students with anything. He would go above and beyond. A stand up person all around. His teaching skills are next to none. He has a way to capture the students attention and hold it. I can't say enough about him.Feb 18, 2015
Scott is a very knowledgeable, passionate, dedicated instructor. He has a special way of making things clear and stick with you. I would highly recommend considering his classes if you want to learn the "correct" way things are done and become proficient in the skills.Feb 13, 2015
Phenomenal learning experience and so much knowledge gained in a very short amount of time. Scott takes his students under his wing to ensure they fully understand the material, in a very systematic yet direct way which enhances cognitive and psychomotor knowledge. The classes are very well structured and equally well delivered. By far the best learning experience I've had and took so much away from the entire experience. Fantastic instructor and fantastic classes!Feb 13, 2015
I attended Scott's basic EMT course when he was instructing at American Safety programs in Rhode Island. As someone who is currently pursuing a master's degree, I am very well versed in knowing a good teacher. I can honestly say that Scott is one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of being in the classroom with. Scott understands that students differ in their learning styles and thus provides different methods of teaching to combat this obstacle. I found that Scott has a rare ability to break down complex information into a more concise form and express said information into more relatable terms for his students. In addition to teaching the skills one needs to be an EMT, Scott also prepares his students for taking the national exam. I found Scott's tips on how to prepare for the exam and how to physically take the exam to be vital in passing on my first attempt. Overall, I can confidently say that my skills and abilities would not be as sharp without having Scott as my instructor. Lisa I. EMT-BMar 8, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Unfortunately, Prices are NOT standard as each training program has a required curriculum and are not the same length. We believe our pricing has value and competitive in today's market.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our first objective is to verify the specific course the customer is requesting. There are different types and levels of CPR training. The initial phone discussion will include the number of students to be trained, length of course, pricing and location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?25+ years of Hands-On patient care with 25+ years as an active instructor. This was possible by working for a municipal Fire/Rescue service and as a Director of training for large city hospital.
