- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We’re not the cheapest, but we provide premium, reliable work. Pricing is transparent and based on the type of installation and the time required. There are no hidden fees, and I always explain costs upfront before any work begins. Quality, punctuality, and clean workmanship are included in every job. There’s an old rule in construction: you can have it fast, cheap or good but you can only pick two. I make sure the work is done right and on schedule, using high quality materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I listen to what the customer wants — the goals, the problem they’re trying to solve, and the type of equipment they prefer. Then I recommend the best solution for their home, provide clear upfront pricing, and schedule the work. On the day of service, I arrive on time, complete the work neatly, walk the customer through everything, and make sure they’re fully comfortable with the work done.

I started 239 Smart after years of helping homeowners, friends, and family upgrade their homes with better security, smarter lighting, and more reliable technology. What began as a passion for clean, professional installations quickly turned into a full-time business. I enjoy making people’s homes safer, easier to use, and more modern — and I take pride in doing the job right.
