I was looking to find someone to handle all aspects of Pinterest project I wanted done for my home office (a pallet wall). Don was excellent, handled finding, breaking down, and staining the pallets to a custom color request. Was on time and efficient with the installation and his price was fair for the amount of work involved. I would recommend him for future projects and will use him again as situations arise for his expertise.
Look no further. This gentleman is very professional, punctual, and polite. Work quality outstanding and even made it out same day on a last minute request. If you are looking for above quality service from a excellent pro, Hayden is the right choice for you. We look forward to his expertise on our future home projects.
Ryan and Mark renovated my 1925 historic bungalow home of 1500 sq ft and built an addition to increase my house to 3000 sq ft. They were great to work with and very artisticly talented carpenters. The scope of work included rough framing, installation of Anderson windows and doors, interior trim, tongue & groove, ship lap, bead board, board & batten, and reusing old wood framing for interior paneling. My house is beautiful and built stronger and more energy efficient thanks to their excellent work.
I highly recommend Chad as your first choice for any of your hauling needs. Above and beyond service like this is hard to find these days. I had a dismantled wooden deck and part of a fence in a pile in my backyard - Chad gave me a great quote so I went ahead and hired him over the phone. Later that same day Chad updated me while I was at work with photos to my phone of my backyard completely free of the pile of debris. As someone who is stuck in the office a lot Chad made it so easy for me to get this chore done. He provided his service ahead of schedule, left the space immaculate, and made the process as easy as possible for me. As for the ABOVE & BEYOND service: I remembered a side panel of fence that was hidden away on the opposite side of my house. When I asked for a quote on just picking up that last piece that I had forgotten about - Chad said not to worry... he would be by first thing tomorrow and pick it up at no extra charge. You just can't find better. I will definitely be hiring this business again and I strongly urge anyone looking for a hauling company to give Chad a call FIRST. You wont be disappointed! A+
Stan has done more than my original project I set out on thumbtack. He is honest, fair and reasonably priced. He started with minor plumbing then removing my backsplash and counters. Then putting up new drywall where my backsplash was and replacing it. I will hire him next to build a 15'x14' composite deck in my backyard bar area.
Land Rock Design was by far the easiest company I have had to deal with in a long time. I got land rock designs name from a neighbor who he had done work for and he was fabulous to work with. He had to jack hammer the old decking out and hook up the downspouts to a underground drainage system before he could lay the pavers and he did everything he said he was going to do and was very much on time. The price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this company to anyone. My patio looks fabulous and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Bob & Stacy
Tear down of upper deck patio area. Tiled a 330 sq/ft area and installed waterproofing and baseboard. Excellent trustworthy guy. The job was done A+ and I will use him and hes crew again anytime.
In summary: Greg made it his personal mission to restore my faith in contractors, and he has done so beyond any expectations I had! We have tackled a few significant construction projects over the last 5 years and this has by far been the best experience we've ever had with a contractor, bar none. Details of our job included: Adding a half bathroom in an existing addition and painting throughout most of the house. The bathroom entailed specialized plumbing needs, electric, framing, vent work, drywall, texture and paint. My favorite parts about this experience have been: 1) Greg runs his business like a business; from educating clients on code for each area of the project, to using software for quoting purposes (which creates details and transparency the customer wants to see), to adhering to committed time frames. It is so nice to work with a fellow professional, who "gets it"! It was obvious fairly quickly that we were dealing with a business person, not just a contractor, and that makes for a very positive experience. 2) His demeanor. Greg first and foremost listened to what we wanted and was able to guide us through the mechanics of how the job needed to be approached for building code purposes, as well as to ensure the end product is what we really wanted. He did significant research on our particular property and situation prior to presenting the quote, and immediately created a level of comfort with his knowledge of the needs of our situation. I even had another contractor say they couldn't do this job, when in fact it just took some creative thinking. Nothing is too big a request for Greg, either he's done it already or can figure out what works! 3) He respected our experiences and met us where we were at with regards to bad prior experiences. He provided many references for me to call first, and truly listened to my concerns so he could provide comfort along the way and consistently prove that we would not be burned as in the past.. 4) He KNOWS WHAT HE's DOING. Every challenge we had, Greg had an answer for and was spot on! 5) Greg has wonderful communication skills, and integrity is obviously important to him, with both a professional reputation and personal character to uphold to his customers. Being overly communicative is a trait that you cherish in a person who is at your house for full days, weeks in a row. 6) Pricing was competitive despite all of the above, which seems to good to be true. Greg manages overhead strategically, and is able to charge fairly. He is also aware of great places to obtain materials outside of the normal modes of purchasing. I honestly cannot say there was one bad aspect of my experience, and with a job of this size/complexity that is quite unbelievable! I'd recommend Greg enthusiastically for any construction or remodel job you have, and will be adding my contact information to his list of happy references you can call!
I can not rave enough about Reel Construction, they are second to none. We are new residents of Seminole, FL and bought a home that ended up needing some MAJOR repairs and renovations (including structural). Not knowing anyone locally for the job, we had to depend on our gut to choose our General Contractor. We reached out to countless contractors, called numbers off of vehicles driving down the road and trolled the internet for more hours than we wished. Our scope included: -Demo the entire exterior of the house down to structural wood and replace 30 year old cedar planks with Hardie lap siding and nasty tar paper wrap with Tyvek. -Eliminate 2 windows entirely, convert 2 windows to doors (one sliding and one french), replace 11 other 30 year old windows with up to date, code compliant Anderson windows, convert 1 sliding glass door to a window and cut off a dilapidated, rotted 12ft x 8ft balcony on a third floor. -New roof. Which he was honest in telling me that I was better off contacting a roofer independently and gave me 3 roofers to contact. We ended up Going with Acoma Roofing...also a total home run, great experience, phenomenal outfit! So, after reaching out to dozens of people, it came down to 4 GC's... 1- Guy A, came by to look at the scope and after calling him for a week asking for a proposal, he finally answered the phone and said he did not have time for our job. 2- Guy B, was 3 hours late to a set appointment, "could not find our house", claimed he is a one man show with no overhead which is why his (incomplete) estimate that did not cover my entire scope of work and was suspiciously low...This dude was 80 years old and didn't really "listen" to me during his visit anyways. 3- Guy C, I had to beg him for a face to face meeting to go over the scope of our job for 3 weeks! He finally sent his "new foreman" and he showed up to our house late and with his wife and kids in tow...Then I had to beg him for 3 more weeks for a proposal which I still have not gotten as I write this review. And those are the ones that I got in touch with!!! This doesn't include the countless emails sent and voicemails left with responses that range from no call back or clearly incompetent outfits, to having a yelling match over the phone because "I didn't know what I was talking about and if we are going to start out by you telling me how I'm going to run my job, then go call someone else..." It is exhausting to even narrow it down to 3 equal, or even similar options to choose from. Also, if you are reading this and are wondering who these other outfits are, feel free to call me for more details, my name is Happy 904-716-1616 So on to the good stuff, from day one, Jory was punctual, attentive, accommodating and answered the phone (or called me back by COB) every time I needed him. He is friendly, clean cut and very professional. He is well educated, courteous around my wife and kids and well mannered. Basically the dude has it together and is not a disheveled mess. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we met. He caries himself with the confidence that no job is to big but remains humble enough that you would hire him for a simple bathroom remodel or an inexpensive deck addition...I can confidently say that he has the knowledge and skill to tackle any job. He took care of every detail from pulling permits to assisting with my material order from Home Depot. He negotiated with the scaffolding company on my behalf and took a bill that potentially was $10k to half of that. He coordinated every city and county inspection and did EVERYTHING on the up and up. I do not have a shadow of a doubt that he is the most honest General Contractor that I have met or will ever meet, and that extends to his crews BTW... On several occasions his crews worked at our house with full access to the inside (we had no option) while we were out of town or away for the entire day. Most of the time he was not there the whole day, leaving Crispin, his main foreman in charge. At no point were any valuables in our house (or garage) even looked at, there was plenty of opportunity for stuff to go missing and it never happened, it's not even a thought to these guys. With a lot of hesitation, I gave him the keys to my house, but our stuff remained as safe as if I was there watching them...it blows my mind that people this honest still exist. Everybody from Jory himself, Crispin, Pablo, Vicente, Thomas, Ken and down to the newest helper were there just trying to make an honest living. They represent what is great about America! The quality of his work: I am in the elevator business, I came from oil and power, I know my way around tools...on a few occasions I tried to cut some corners (not compromising the end product or look, but mainly to save money) and he put his foot down and did things right. On one occasion even saying that his name was on the line and he would work with me on the cost of doing it right if he needed to but refused to cut a corner, even when I was asking him to! In any event, we ran into a lot of water and termite damage to the house that was out of scope and he could have nickle and dimmed me to death but instead chose to keep my final bill reasonable (he is not the cheapest guy out there but he is the best by a long shot, and you truly get what you pay for). Now check this out, and I still have a hard time believing this myself, but, he started my job the day we agreed, he finished my job 15 days ahead of schedule and the final bill was within 2% of his original budget... Everything you have read so far is why I am taking the time (that I don't really have) out of my busy day to write such a detailed review. He deserves to be raved about and no, he did not bride me to write this! As you can read, Jory Romano and his crews far exceeded our expectations. I will never go to another outfit for my future remodeling or constructions needs nor will I ever stop raving about how impressed I am with Reel Construction!
After interviewing nearly a dozen deck companies and builders, I felt most comfortable with Quality Custom Decks. Not only did the owner Richard offer the best quote in terms of price, but he was attentive to my concerns every step of the way. From start to finish, Richard answered my questions and ensured my satisfaction. He also provided my wife and I opinions on minor changes that turned out to be major improvements such as lighting and suggestions that differed from my own vision. Now that our deck is complete, literally neighbors and strangers have stopped their cars to look and comment how beautiful the work is. I am thankful to Richard and his entire team, so much that we have requested he build more decking in the back of our home. Thank you for the incredible craftsmanship.
Karl did a great job. He arrived when promised and was very professional, courteous and friendly. Tile looks great! I will definitely contact him again for any future needs.
The estimate was reasonable, the materials used were high quality, and the time frame of completion ended up being 2 days ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Mark and his crew. They do great work.
We contacted Premier Builders & Restoration for an estimate on pool decking, but we got so much more. Check out their website! They do pretty much anything and everything. They replaced our entire kitchen, pool door, and 3 bathroom vanities. They painted baseboards, replace lighting fixtures, and even hung pictures for us. They even did some plumbing that other contractors could not. Every member of their team was professional and aimed to please. PBR provided very detailed estimates and stuck to them and they are fast. We will use them once were ready to replace the pool decking and Ive referred them to friends and family. PBRs #1 priority was to make us happy. Thank you Mike, Robby, Jason, Terrance, and Wayne! Our place looks fabulous!
Richard is the consummate craftsman. The creative vision, planning and execution he brought to our deck project far exceeded our expectations. Not only was he conscientious about his work, his keen communication skills kept us informed at each stage of the project. What's more, he was competitively priced! I'd hire him again, without reservation.
