Introduction: Devin Page is a brass instructor, professional musician and music educator. I am an experienced private instructor who teaches all brass instruments such as trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba. I have experience teaching one-on-one with all grade levels, from elementary through collegiate. I hold a bachelors of Music Education from Florida State University and am professionally certified in music by the Florida Department of Education. Reduce your practice time from hours to minutes per day while advancing at an exponential rate. You'll learn simple, yet powerful lessons and will be amazed at the rate at which you can improve. You'll also learn the secrets that make playing and performing fun, such as mastering breathing, air flow, tone, technique, intonation, musicality and stage presence. My philosophy of teaching wind instruments is deeply rooted in the teachings of wind pedagogue, Arnold Jacobs. You will learn to become a solid, fundamentally sound brass player by mastering the fundamentals of music and your instrument. Lessons include instruction in reading and interpreting music, the latest and most efficient brass techniques and developing repertoire according to the individual student's wants and needs. Rental instruments are not available. Student must provide their own instrument. Tuition begins at $15 per half hour. Lessons are taught one-on-one as often as the student wishes. I will meet no more than twice per week with any one student, any more becomes counter-productive since I will teach the student techniques to apply in their individual practice. No long-term commitment is required. I offer lessons in my studio at home and will travel to student's home if needed.
