After losing my husband in May, Ive been going through a very difficult time and honestly havent been paying much attention to myself. With a charity ball coming up, I decided to treat myself to a facial so I could feel presentable again. I went to Eternit Spa in New Smyrna Beach, excited to try the new treatment theyve been advertising.The young lady who performed the facial and red-light treatment was pleasant and did a good job. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a horror show afterward.The skin expert, who I believe is the owner, began aggressively trying to sell me a collagen cream for $395 and a skin scrub for $60. He was extremely pushy and became visibly annoyed when I politely said, No, thank you. His attitude shifted from sales pitch to insulting very quickly.When I went to pay the $60 for my facial, he sarcastically asked if I wanted to pay in monthly payments, smirking as he said it. At the same time, he was speaking to another employee in Hebrew right in front of me. It was obvious they were talking about me, and it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. A paying customer should never be made to feel mocked or disrespected.I still left a $10 tip for the young woman who treated meI truly hope she actually receives it.To the so-called skin expert/owner:Never speak in another language about a customer right in front of them. Customers are not stupid; we know when were being talked about.You were pushy, demanding, and disrespectful. And as for the 5-star review you practically demandedabsolutely not. You didnt earn it.

Beware: Mediocre, overpriced facial performed with the sole purpose of high pressure hawking of their wares. Also, paid for an hour facial, arrived on time, waited 20 minutes while they made excuses for a scheduling error, and still ended the service 5 minutes early, for a total of 35mins of service time.Editing to respond to your response: NO, I did not arrive late, in fact, I was there 5 minutes early. In regards to the "double confirmation": I confirmed by responding to your email as requested. However, as your staff admitted, they texted the wrong number, so I was never sent a text to use as the "second confirmation." I DID however, call 3 times the day before, and once the morning of my appointment, leaving messages, informing you that I only received an email, and never received a text, but that I still wanted the appointment. You never returned my call until 10 prior to the appointment time. Since I live in Deland, it takes approx. 40 minutes to get to you, so by the time you called back, I was less than 5 minutes away from you.Secondly, if you felt justified in shortening my service for whatever reason, that should have been discussed prior to starting the service, and/or a cost adjustment should have been discussed, again, prior to the appointment.Lastly, your statement about pushing products only when requested is utter nonsense, and a bold-faced lie. I made no request. Additionally, while I was waiting for my service, I witnessed the same high-pressure sales tactics twice on 2 different customers, with nearly an identical script.Ultimately, it's a free country, and you can run your business however you wish. However, the reason why Google reviews exist is to allow consumers the same freedom...to make informed decisions about where they spend their hard-earned money.
