Just got done with my first training session via their 'first session free' offer on their website, and DAMN..... I know I'm out of shape and expected to feel like hell afterwards, but not this bad. It really pushed me to my limits, which is great because the reason I'm trying this place out is because I have a hard time pushing myself on my own. The studio setting offers a bit of accountability, so you push yourself harder to make sure you're keeping up. At the same time they offer differing difficulty levels of each workout for people at different fitness levels, so that you're able to get a great workout no matter how fit you already are. Though I didn't have extensive conversations with any of the regulars, everyone seemed very welcoming, especially the trainers. I'll most likely be going back tomorrow morning, so I'll update then to reflect that experience :)

Fantastic! I have been working out in the gym for over 25 years. I was in a car accident seven years ago and stopped working out. I gained 75 pounds and Lost a lot of functionality. I didn't think he could do anything to help me, and I didn't think he could show me anything I didn't know. I was wrong on both counts ! He has me doing from fetal movement combined with strength training and I'm feeling a little better. SHe is enthusiastic about her job, and is an excellent motivator. She pushes me just enough. I highly recommend her

Riccardo trained me for almost two months while I was vacationing in Florida . He was AMAZING!!!!!! He was very easy to get along with and I felt comfortable with him from our first meeting ! In the short time we were together he developed a personalized program that consisted of strength /circuit training in my gym Combined with pool training . He is the reason I dropped 15 pounds in the short time we were together . I have had many trainers in my life and I have never met Anyone like Riccardo . He is definitely the BEST trainer I have ever had ! When my husband joined me for the last two weeks , Riccardo also trained him . they hit it off from the start! My husband was able to drop 6 pounds in two weeks! All Thanks to riccardo's personalized training program he developed for him . My husband said to me , Riccardo is one of the best trainers I have ever had ! If you want results , Ricardo is your guy ! He is patient and understands all different body frames and can therefore specialize your program to suit your needs . He has a wealth of fitness training knowledge and gives great support when it comes to healthy eating. He is always happy to answer any questions ! I haven't done any real strenuous exercise in awhile and Frank has been able to customize a plan that is challenging yet not overwhelming. He is extremely knowledgeable about how a certain circuit will work on the body and is very encouraging along the way. I immediately felt comfortable with Frank and would recommend him to anyone.

This is going to be long! After being widowed suddenly at age 56 in 2014, I found myself slipping slowly into a state of uselessness. The very active lifestyle I formerly enjoyed included running half marathons and most recently the NYC Marathon last November - all to fundraise for child protection and water projects in Haiti and Africa through World Vision. My desire was to continue in service, and I was further inspired during a 10-day "Vision Trip" to Ethiopia and Kenya with World Vision to visit water projects in World Vision communities, meet the villagers the projects served, meet one of my sponsored children, and run "The Great Ethipoian Race". My 9 travel companions and I also went to collection sites where women and children were fetching contaminated water for drinking and cleaning. Witnessing this and getting to speak with the villagers moved my heart to continue in service to help them. Once I got back to a house without my husband though, I sank into a feeling of unworthiness, uselessness, lack of motivation, and despair. Even running did not cheer me as it used to. I carried the guilt of not moving to help the people I had met in Africa. Before leaving on a 10-day vacation at the end of April, I was carrying 7 lbs. over my race weight. During the vacation, I gained 9 lbs. more. Once home, I started back to a half-hearted workout program, but had a hard time quitting sugary treats. Then, I gained 2 lbs. more! What a failure I was. I was weighing more than ever - besides during my pregnancy. I realized that I needed someone who would be there for me to force me to get back into a regular and sound workout program. The things I hated the most were - not wanting to or feeling like I could run another half marathon, my growing belly that reflects an imminent serious health problem, and being stagnant in my service to the people who had moved me in Africa. Then, after having used Thumbtack to hire a tree pruner and liking the service, I decided to look for a personal trainer who would force me off of my butt. I really liked the way I received immediate responses and profiles. Once I had narrowed it down to 2 trainers, I scheduled interviews with both of them. They both interviewed very well, but Eric seemed to "fight" for my business. He was willing to train me every day that I was home and on weekends for the same price as weekdays. I work as a flight attendant, and my schedule varies. Eric was also less expensive than the other interviewee and super flexible with his hours. I hired him, and we started training the following day. There's nothing to complain about with Eric. He's either right on time with our appointments or more often than not, he texts me if he's able to get to me a little earlier. He texted me the one time he was running a little late too. He doesn't keep me wondering, and I appreciate his energy. Eric really encourages me, and I needed to have someone to get me wanting to be dressed in my workout clothes and ready to go when he would arrive. When he started with me, I really wanted to perform well for him when I didn't want to do it for myself. Now, I'm back to wanting to be performing on my own and seeing my future as being able to run again for my friends in Africa or continuing with being a child ambassador for sponsorship. Since May 16, Eric has trained me at my home 8 times. He put together a daily workout schedule for me to do either in my hotel room or at the hotel fitness center when I'm away from home. He taught me how to use the TRX system and resistance bands when I'm away, and he had me record a video of him going through all of the exercises for me to reference. My memory is not the best, but I don't need my memory when I have the videos to follow and my plan sheet that he provided for me. During our sessions, he coaches me enthusiastically through my sets and keeps me moving fast. In 45 minutes, I'm getting 100% of his creativity with the way he uses the items in my home gym plus things like brooms and garden tools that are around to give me a super effective workout. He can really think quickly on his feet and most importantly, he makes the workouts FUN! He keeps me pretty sore, but not so sore that I can't function. Also, before the marathon, I had 3 injuries during training - my Achilles, my calf, and my knee at separate times. With Eric's workouts, I feel that these three areas are getting stronger, and are not a problem nor weak. Eric's workouts don't include crazy, injury-likely, exercises. Eric took measurements when we started training together. So, I can't give specific results right now because we will take the next measurements after I've been training 4 weeks. I do see that my arms are already more toned, but my belly is still flabby. I don't expect that area to respond right away anyway. He's having me use the app "MyFitnessPal" to keep track of what's going into my mouth, and he had me adjust the percentages of fat, protein, and carbs in the app. I'm a little discouraged that I've only lost 2.8 lbs. from my highest weight, but at least I'm not still gaining and I am more toned. When I hit the 4 weeks, I'd like to submit another review so that you can see the real results. I've decided to stick with Eric's personal training for at least 90 days. After that, I hope to have the confidence to go to the gym he's opening from time to time or have him still come to my home once per week to keep me on track. My finances will most likely determine that. Ultimately, I hope to maintain this lifestyle change. The good thing is that I'm being held accountable by Eric, and I'm happy to check in with him by text when I'm out of the country to prove that I'm doing my daily workouts without him. It's good to have someone to keep me motivated. Also, he practices what he preaches. He's in excellent shape himself, exudes youth and energy, and reflects a happy life through his smile and glow. He always keeps things upbeat and positive, seeks and works hard to meet his own goals for his business and desire to help people, and that impresses me in this handsome and charming young man. Finally, I highly recommend Eric to anyone like myself who had maybe been an athlete and for one reason or another, has fallen into a deep slump, depression, and lack of motivation. Eric's energy and positive attitude will get you moving again and wanting to do good in this world. He'll get you out of bed and feeling great!!

A 5 star review hardly sums up my experience training at SFTS. My trainer, Christian motivates me every session and his positivity and knowledge about nutrition and fitness carries over to all aspects of my life. He’s brilliant when it comes to fitness and nutrition and he trains me based on my personal needs and goals. My training sessions are constantly switched up and my results are beyond rewarding. What else can I say about Dienifer? She is amazing for many reasons: 1- She is a woman , so she understands me in my bad days. 2- She encourages me throughout 3- Its not only about the training sessions for her...she msgs to see how r u doing and I think is really nice from her to do that. 4- Thanks to her I am really comited to my training and to reach my goals. 5- I used to think that exercises will be boring and She changed my perception. I have been training with Kannel for almost two months now. In this time, I’ve seen improvements in my physical appearance, energy levels, strength, and general well-being. But one of the most important things I’ve achieved with Kannel is a greater sense of discipline and commitment. I love Jennifer and her approach. She's not just about the scale, the pounds, and the looks. Jennifer geniounly cares about her clients' wellbeing and that includes physical and mental fitness. You have fun working out with her. She pushes you while you always at the same time know and feel that she's got you. She takes care of you. Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable not just in the field of physical fitness, but also when it comes to mental support & wellbeing, motivation, and nutrition. I even trained with Jen via long distance. She went above and beyond and created a video for me in which she demonstrated and explained the different exercises. I could do this workout everywhere which was super practical while traveling and after I had moved to the west coast. I lost 20 pounds in two months on her program while also watching what I ate. But I credit her training and more even her spirit, her inspiration, and her support with helping me stay on track when it came to my nutrition and clean eating as well. I cannot recommend Jennifer enough & can't wait to be in the same city as her again to enjoy a session with her. Thank you, Jennifer, for your help & guidance. You rock!

After having tried different “personalized” training programs by other fitness coaches (basically a copy paste from an online website) I decided to find someone with some real experience. I can only say good things about her training program, it was ideal for my body type and I started noticing changes in no time. Another great aspect of her program is the nutrition, I love my pizza and burgers (who doesn’t) from time to time but nutrition Is the most important part and sometimes the hardest to attaining your ideal body. She kept me motivated even when I thought I didn’t have anything left in me. Definitely recommended. She’s the best out there.
