I'm horrified by my experience with Charles from Char-Don Catering. Stay away from this company unless you want Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde catering your event.
I originally called explaining I was on a tight budget and needed something simple for my wedding. He sent me a quote with a bunch of add ons that I didn't need, so I asked him to take those items off and that I was only interested in dinner. He gave me attitude, but I disregarded it and continued to schedule a tasting. I explained some options that I was interested in trying, but he was unwilling to let me try anything besides one dish because "it takes too much time to make the others." I still wanted to give his company a chance despite the lack of customer service. Then he sent me an email at night to confirm the tasting. The next morning he called me angrily to confirm the tasting and said he needed to know asap if I was coming. Shocked by his aggressiveness and attitude towards me, I was quiet on the phone for 10 seconds while he repeatedly screamed in my ear "HELLO!" I then told him that I felt uncomfortable and that I'd like to cancel the tasting. He responded with "Good, cause I don't have time for stupid, airy, indecisive people. " He proceed to verbally harass me for another minute before I made a quick exit on the phone.

The food was outstanding! All of the guests at our wedding were very pleased and we heard no complaints. The staff was very professional. We were a little disappointed at how quickly they packed up and left. We were also a little disappointed that they didn't leave any food for us to have a plate after everyone was gone as we, the bride and groom, were to busy with our guests to really get a chance to eat. I would definitely recommend Char-Don Catering to anyone and would definitely use them again for any other event!!!
