Mattisen Thompson is a professionally licensed makeup artist and skincare specialist. As one of the few tenured artists and former manager of the only MAC Pro store in Orlando, FL she is fully equipped with the knowledge and talent to provide makeup services from every day to stage ready. She has had the pleasure of training under celebrity makeup artists (those of, including but not limited to- Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, N’SYNC, Dita Von Teese, Mary J Blige, etc). Mattisen has done makeup for printed editorial work as well as television. Between her more VIP clients and the every day human just wanting to get gussied up, she has successfully made up hundreds of faces from all over the globe. Private and customized makeup lessons are also available!

Wow, just WOW! I hired miss Caliberr for two separate photo shoots and she gave me two incredible looks. Both tailored to my face shape and wardrobe. In addition to being incredibly good at understanding makeup, colors and the art of transformation she is charming and delighted to explain the process, products and answer any questions. The products she’s using are such high quality (MAC) that it left me questioning my daily makeup routine and I will be booking her for a daily makeup tutorial, yep she does that too! I also have highly textured skin and in her arsenal of incredible products she had a base that really smoothed my skin out. She really pays attention to the individual rather than applying a copy and paste makeup look. She also was able to apply lashes to my lash extensions with such care that my extensions were all in tact post shoot. She’s well worth the money and I look forward to working with her more regularly!

Mattisen, is the consummate professional. She’s personable, mobile, and is a prize on the eyes. My girls loved her energy and just wanted to be around while she performed her magic. It was perfect! And I was flawless! She IS MY MAKEUP artist. She also helped me put together a starter kit. I will begin makeup application classes with Mattisen’s May 14. I’m stoked!

Bebe has helped me with several looks over many years. There have been times when she was fully in charge and there have been others when I needed her guidance on how to create something that I would replicate myself. She is both a proficient make up artist and an excellent teacher.

Bebe is incredibly skilled and has the additional talent of being able to teach her customers how to do the application themselves. She really listens to what you want and tailors her approach based on the needs of the individual. She also freely offers lots of tips and tricks for things you may not have even considered. She is definitely a five star make up artist and a joy to work with!!

I do offer wedding packages or party packages if there is more than 2 people!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the look, I love using reference photos of available, typically I’ll travel to the client but they can come to me too if they prefer. I take about 1 hour to do a full glam look!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained by celebrity makeup artists and licensed by Aveda.
