Cheryls Magic Flute

Introduction: I offer live therapeutic music played by me on my Native American flute as well as alto silver flute. I am a cert. music practitioner, educator and cert. chromotherapist (unique form of color therapy). I combine live flute music played by me, with the addition of carefully selected, illuminated color. A therapeutic color gel is supported by a safe L.E.D. lamp, which is bathed on the client in a private session. The benefits are many and varied. Stress-related health imbalances, like insomnia, depression, ADD, sensory imbalances, menopause, PMS, and pain can be alleviated for various health imbalances based on stress. This is "Music as wellness." For youth groups, I offer recreational music making using drums, flute and of course laughter exercises. There, I emphasize the rhythms of courage, character building, integrity and self-control. This is educational in that I use phonics, counting, drum sounds and word rhythms to remember the beats. The heartbeat is emphasized for grounding and relaxation, helping the brain waves to balance. I use wellness exercises like brain gym to help stimulate and balance both sides of the brain. We provide happy hour without a hangover.
