The team that was very nice but they were not equipped to handle the job. The job was clear that it was a 1st floor apartment moving to a 3rd floor apartment. It was too much work for two people and ended up taking much longer than what we were told or budgeted for. The movers were great they just were not prepared properly. I think this was just a case of misunderstanding.

Thank you for your feedback. While we’re glad, you found our movers professional and courteous, we do want to clarify a few points. Our team arrived fully prepared and equipped for the move based on the information provided at the time of booking. The scope of the job — moving from a first-floor apartment to a third-floor apartment — was clearly explained and understood.
The duration of any move can vary depending on factors such as the amount of furniture, the layout of the building, and access points. Two movers are standard for this type of move unless additional labor is requested in advance. If more movers were needed, we would have gladly accommodated that request during scheduling. In our VCG Logistics Residential Moving Agreement that you agree, and sign.
Clearly states that:
5. PRICING AND PAYMENT:
“The total cost of the move will be determined at the end of job completion.
Team: Two professional movers with one truck.
Rate: $450 flat rate for the first 3 hours
(This includes a truck and travel fee — no hidden fees or taxes)
Additional Time: $125 per hour for labor after the initial 3-hour minimum
If you have any questions or would like to schedule your move, feel free to contact us”
