FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and based on training frequency and service type (private, semi-private, small group). I offer package pricing (best value) and single-session options. I also run seasonal specials during select times of year. Because I’m a mobile, at-home trainer, travel may apply depending on distance from my base in the MetroWest Orlando area. I use a simple tiered travel structure (ex: 15/30/45 minutes away). If you purchase a package, sessions are redeemable for up to 60 days from purchase, and cancellations require 24 hours’ notice to receive session credit back.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start every client relationship with a screening process so I can build a plan that’s safe, effective, and realistic. Step 1: Initial Screening Call (10–20 minutes) We talk about your goals, health history, injury concerns, current activity level, equipment access (home/gym), schedule, and what you’d enjoy doing. Step 2: Movement & Needs Assessment (first session) We do a simple functional movement check (mobility, stability, balance, strength baseline). For adaptive clients, I also screen for communication preferences, sensory needs, and support requirements. Step 3: Personalized Training Plan I match your plan to your goals—strength, mobility, weight loss, injury recovery, fall prevention, endurance, etc.—and use progressive programming that prioritizes good form (“move well - move more”). Step 4: Ongoing Coaching + Progress Tracking We track progress, adjust as needed, and I provide simple “between-session” recommendations (mobility, walking, recovery habits). If you’re doing virtual programming, I include check-ins and monthly updates.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Health Sciences graduate and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, with additional applied experience in: - Injury prevention and movement screening - Strength & conditioning principles - Post-rehab / return-to-exercise training - Adaptive fitness coaching for people with disabilities and neurodivergent needs - Performance testing and human performance research, including work supporting military readiness and applied exercise physiology concepts My training style is science-based but delivered in a simple, supportive way so clients can understand the “why,” not just the workout.
