Overall, I am very satisfied with the work CFL Roofing has done for us and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable roofer who takes quality of service seriously. The pricing was on the high side, but it is well worth it when considering the overall service received. This review is divided into 3 parts; each is equally important to long-term satisfaction and peace of mind. Please note that a cheap roof replacement does not equate to long-term peace of mind; it may cause many headaches for years to come. So, do it right the first time.Materials: CFL Roofing utilizes the top-tier GAF Timberline HDZ Series, premium shingles. They have also fully installed the recommended GAF system, which includes the roof underlayment, leak barriers, and master flow vents. Every material used is GAF, ensuring no compromise on quality for cost-cutting. The entire roof system, therefore, is warrantied for 25 years by GAF, even in the unlikely event that CFL Roofing goes out of business. Our house is safeguarded by these renowned, wind-resistant materials, and it is backed by a Golden Pledge warranty.Workmanship: The CFL Roofing installation team worked very well together. They got the installation process down to the nails. The process started with the delivery of materials on top of the roof, followed by a large garage bin drop-off on our driveway. The next day, the crew arrived at sunrise and worked until sunset. They quietly work and meticulously clean up after themselves daily. There was no loud music, only the sound of a pneumatic nail gun. The entire roof was replaced within 2 days. They inspected the perimeter of our house, picked up nails, and removed old roofing materials from the premises. When they left, the only thing left behind was a gorgeous, well-installed roof and shiny air vents.Project Management: While materials and workmanship play an essential role in the roof's longevity, project management is the peace of mind that the work is being monitored to ensure it is done correctly and on time. Our project manager, Jimmy Sohanlall, was a friendly and top-notch manager. He showed up every day and checked up on the installation. He helped get materials and exchange a skylight that wasnt fitting our roof. He coordinated with other contractors, including those who install gutters, to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. He is readily available by phone and text, so I was very relaxed during the entire process. He followed up after the installation to help with the wind mitigation work. I cant ask for a better project manager than Jimmy.
