FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I lived in Mexico for 20 years, and everybody wanted me to help them with their English.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I always offer a meeting for us to get to know each other before a commitment is made. You need to be comfortable. You and your teacher should like each other, and trusting your teacher is a big part of how much and how quickly you improve.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Building an impersonal on-line profile and selling yourself is easy; being really committed and caring about your students has to come from the heart. As a potential student you should really feel good about your teacher as a person. If you're seduced by the cheapest or most convenient hook-up, you may miss out on the chance to build a truly meaningful bond with someone who cares about you and your learning process.
