Jeff has done several major projects in our 1960's home. From installing a HVAC unit and hanging kitchen cabinets to installing a tub surround and repairing the plumbing, he has been professional, competent, and fair. He always explains his recommendations and plans in detail and considers my input as well. In addition, he sticks to his estimates and respects my budget. You can trust Jeff to do what he says he will do with great results.
Very professional and reasonable prices. He installed a water heater for us and did a few other small plumbing tasks.
I purchased a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home through foreclosure in Columbus Ga. I had had some handyman experience in the past and felt confident that the few little projects were within my personal skill set. Once started, I quickly found myself in over my head. Enter Chris Tomasiewicz, he quickly identified then prioritized the projects faced, he established a working relationship allowing me to (supervise--save face) and off we began. The projects included but were not limited to; removing a section of ceiling in the downstairs bathroom, fixing the offending leaking joint from the upstairs bathroom, then repairing the ceiling so as to better than original condition. Repairing the section of ceiling in the playroom, again the patched section could not be identified as having been repaired. Completely removing the existing cabinetry in the kitchen, stripping and staining to match the newly purchased units on the opposite wall. Pulling out the cracked and broken 30 year old floor tilling in the kitchen and all three bathrooms and installing the ceramic tilling in all of these rooms. Installing the electrical outlets, including a subterranian floor unit for the kitchen island, and installing the electric oven, gas stove top, built in microwave oven, including a remodification of the oven/microwave oven tower when the 30" old opening proved to be 1and a half inches to short for the 30" new oven. New ceiling fans installed in all the bedrooms, and in wall speaker wires for the surround sound system in the living room. A new wood laminate floor installed in the dining room and foyer. Naturally when the air conditioning unit failed, once again Chris quickly identified the malfunctioning part and repaired it. A rental home was also under Chris's expert hands, including new ceramic tilling in the kitchen and bath room, a few ghost electrical gremlins in the antique wiring, installation of a window where one had never been, and finally a complete whole home ac unit installed. At this point the only complaint that I have with Chris is that he has moved out of the area, and is no longer available, leaving me to my own devices and less competant work.
