Latest Review: My seven year old son began taking piano lessons for the first time about one year ago. We tried several teachers until Zachary found one that he liked. Zach has had a one hour lesson per week at Mr. Bennett's studio. Zach has progressed nicely and really loves his lessons and playing and practicing at home. The lessons are a mix of serious teaching and effort, and laughter. In addition to the structured progress through the lesson material, Mr. Bennett spends time, usually at the beginning or end of a lesson, to work with Zach on one of his favorite Bethoven tunes. We highly recommend Mr. Bennett as a professional, experienced piano teacher who obviously loves his profession.

Latest Review: Diana came to me “out of the blue” and the timing was perfect……I had not touched my piano in three years; my favorite piano teacher had moved away, and somehow I thought he could never be replaced, and seemingly, just gave up! (I might as well mention here that I am a woman “of a certain age”….. well ok, I’ll admit to being somewhere over 50!) I had my first lesson with Diana almost exactly a year ago and although embarrassed at my rustiness, she quickly put me at ease and made things comfortable by bringing out some nice, easy teacher/student duets. Soon we were laughing together on the bench and I was actually having fun. I don’t remember ever having FUN during piano lessons ! Diana has honed her considerable skills sharply over her teaching career, and you will know that from your first meeting. She is truly excited about teaching and I have learned more in this one year with her than four with my previous beloved teacher and - hardly do they count – but the 2 others before him and one after. It seems like I knew nothing but how to read, and during this year she has given me many lovely pieces to vary my practice and at the same time, increase my reading skills. I didn’t know a thing about theory and honestly, was not even vaguely interested in knowing a thing! That’s all changed. Diana can inspire even the most stubborn of us to want to know more – to play more – and best of all, for me - to actually have fun while we’re practicing, with her or without her. I cannot say enough about how happy I am to be one of her students and I am recommending her for any age, at any stage! She will bring out the best in you. Linda D. on October 15, 2015

Latest Review: The journey of finding the right teacher can prove to be a difficult task when searching through a sea of options that all are 'seemingly' desirable. Phyllis Sdoia-Satz proves to be the needle of quality in the actual haystack of blandness. Whether I were interested in a fair price, quality of instruction, teacher-student relationship, professionalism, or in the countless other aspects one can judge a teacher upon, Phyllis would have fulfilled my expectation(s) regardless. Why? It is due to the fact that she lives up to the image she presents. From experience, to curriculum, to professionalism, Phyllis displays qualities that are attractive, not merely to reel someone one in like others, but because it's truly who she is. Through instruction with Phyllis Sdoia-Satz, I was able to not only realize my passion for music and the piano, but also to make unheard growth and progress toward my ever-rising goals.

Latest Review: Thank you Elite Music Instruction. The bottom line is good teachers get good results and our children love their teachers. Our daughter has been taking piano lessons with Elite Music Instruction for three years and our son has been taking violin lessons with Elite Music Instruction for two and a half years. I just could not get my children to practice with their old teacher and now I can't get them to stop practicing.

Latest Review: I had my twin boys take violin lessons with Janie Wise since age 3 to about age 15. In addition,I also decided to take lessons with her . Therefore, I can sincerely attest to Janie being a great teacher. She has patience with kids and adults. She is very professional and expects her students to practice. Is she tough? Absolutely! But my boys went on to play in the youth city orchestra and would not have been able to do it without her great guidance. Moreover, her passion for teaching is a rare find in teachers. Anybody who learns from Janie may not become a Mozart like myself, but rest assured, she absolutely gives 100 percent in each lesson. The student has to take her teachings and apply it to be successful. I would recommend Janie to anyone. Columbus lost a great teacher and musician. Madhavi T.
