Contracted with Charles Davis to trim a large sea grape , large black olive, to take down 2 tall ?fan palms, trim an espallier, remove 5 raphus palms, grind 4 stumps. He and partner arrived the following day to do the work. They were efficient and hardworking although they arrived 3 hours late without letting me know about the delay. Price was fair. I gave 3 stars because only 1 of 4 stumps was removed - with an axe not a stump grinder. Still waiting to see if the city hauls away the palms that were cut down and piled in the alleyway behind the house. My recommendation for hiring them is to get every detail in writing on the contract.
