Vivian was EXACTLY what I was hoping for in a personal chef. Three long-time-ago college friends and I rented a vacation beach house and I wanted to treat them to something very special. Dinner was better than I had hoped. For appetizers she made avocado bruschetta with the most delicious heirloom tomatoes as well as potstickers that were just as delicious. The main course was salmon and pasta. Dessert was my favorite - she made THE BEST blueberry key lime pie with homemade whipped cream. OMG. Vivian chose the perfect wine for both appetizers and main course - so much so that my friend took a picture of the bottle to remember what it was. We hired On The Go Gourmet for my Mom's 80th birthday party. Vivian reached out to a request we sent out seeking a chef. She then came and brought us a sample of her cooking and helped us chose a menu. On the day she & her helper prepared, set up and arranged our appetizers, dinner and cake, flawlessly. Her staff was very professional, it felt like they were reading my mind when it came to service. The food was amazing we had enough that everybody ate like that was comfort food and took food home... DO NOT HIRE THIS Chef. I hired her to cater my wedding on Nov. 19th, 2016. I decided to opt for the drop off service. Which would have been great if when Vivian dropped off the food she had provided the chafing dishes. She advised my family that all we had to do is lite it, about an hour before serving time. Which we did do! About an hour into it the food started to burn and the entire meal was burnt and ruined. The gravy was so salty that you simply could not eat it. The other food had the potential to be good. But because Vivian, our chef never set our food up correctly our wedding food was a disaster. We called her and 45 min. later she brought the steaming trays. By then it was too late. We had to throw away trays of food and we could not eat until 3 hours into the wedding. I called Vivian and asked her to call me so we could discuss and she has not returned phone calls, texts and to this day nothing. If you want to chance you meal hire this cater. I was going to blast here with bad reviews but this is a good start. PLEASE BRIDES, DO NOT HIRE THIS CHEF. My wedding meal I can never get back.
