Hey there! My name is Nicki, owner of Embodied Movements. With over 30 years of training and 15 years of teaching, I am fluent in over 30 dance styles for anyones needs! Assuring a fun and progressive experience is always my main focus during lessons. Each session is tailored to fit YOU! Whether you're looking to explore a new hobby, make the most of a special day, or just simply try something you've never done before, I will do my best to assit you along your journey. I have taught thousands of students all over the world and have watched my students progress and reach their goals quickly!
I cater to many students who like to learn from home, so if travel is not an option for you, I will haplily travel to you for lessons.

Nikki is a phenomenal instructor. I hired her to do short term work (4 weeks) with my teenage daughter in preparation for an audition with Julliard camp. She did not disappoint and had my daughter performing her routines at a very high quality… which helped her get accepted from her audition. Since then, we continue to work with Nikki on a weekly basis and my daughter (Addison) has grown tremendously in her capabilities and overall dance styles. I highly highly Recommend her for anyone looking for a true professional who not only performs herself … but teaches it as well.

Great teacher! We requested help last minute because we wanted to do something for our first dance. We are both not dancers and she made us dancers! She kept is simple and broke down the steps so it was easy to follow. Highly recommend!

So lucky to have found Nicki as my new dance instructor!! I’ve been wanting to learn heel dance but was too shy to take a class and wasn’t able to memorize any routine, Nicki just makes everything work, the schedule, the choreography, the fun aspect of it, I love my new hobby!! My toddler boy will join us soon for hip hop class (yes, she teaches all dance👍)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Single person lessons at $80 for a 45 minute lesson, couples are $100. Travel fees are dependent upon distance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After your initial consultation, we will take our first lesson to lay out a plan and set some goals, and begin with the foundations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in the Divida Ballroom syllabus as well had The Franklin Method for functional anatomy and dynamic neuro-cognitive imagery.
