FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on certain factors, such as location and type of tutoring, my hourly price flucuates between $20/hr - $40/hr. The pricing will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the tutoring session. Below are some examples of factors that will effect the hourly price. - Distance to location of tutoring session - Frequency of tutoring (2 or more sessions a week gets a discount) - Academic level of subject matter - Price increase for weekend sessions
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During college, I earned a scholarship through the National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) and spent every summer interning at various NASA centers in Alabama and California. I have been fortunate to witness breaking developments in science and technology and remain up to date on continuing scientific achievements throughout the United States.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to remain as a mathematics and physics tutor after graduating college because I seek to give back what I have learned to facilitate America's growing student interest in the sciences. Providing students at every level with the skills they need to excel in the high-paid, highly-rewarding fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) is a maxim that I firmly believe in.
