Born and raised in Temple, TX, the owner Jeremy, moved to Florida in 1998 and starting attending the University of South Florida in Saint Petersburg shortly after. While earning a bachelors degree in business management he worked for a local moving company first as a helper, then a driver and was eventually asked to be part of the management team. Working here not only showed him how to run a successful moving company but also it taught him that you must always treat the customer right, the employees fairly and it’s OK to put customer satisfaction over profit. With this expertise and knowledge he started Swift Moves in January 2016 and I has not looked back since.
Working his way from mover to manager and eventually into owner of Swift Moves gives him unique insights that allows us to connect with the customer and the employee which ensures we can give our customer the highest and most professional level of service possible.

When I posted on thumbtack looking for movers, they were the first to respond. Throughout the process they kept in touch to make sure everything was on track. I actually had to reschedule my move and there was no problem rescheduling it. They were at my place right on time and took care to wrap all my furniture in cloth and plastic to prevent damage. It was a 1-bedroom, 3rd floor apartment and there were 3 movers. All in all it took them around an hour to get everything down into the truck and maybe 30 min to take everything out at the new place. It cost less than I expected and they had their own big moving truck and everything. Would use them again.

We had 3 movers to help us unload a 28 Foot, stuffed ABF Freight trailer! They were able to unload the entire trailer in less than 3 hours without damaging a single piece of furniture. All I can say is WOW! They movers were polite and courteous as well. We highly recommend them and couldn’t have done it without you!

Was left in a bind in that I needed to move broken bedroom furniture I received from a large store here in Port Richey into my garage on a Sunday for new furniture coming on Monday . Swift Moves answered my request late on Saturday and was able to arrange 3 men to come and dissemble and move everything plus also move my new mattresses into the bedrooms so I am ready for my delivery of my new furniture. Though I didn’t need a move from one place to another with the quick response and arrangement and to be able to accommodate my need I will definitely use their service in the future for any move I make. I worked with Justin and Jeremy from Swift Moves when the movers my daughter had hired a month before and had just called the day before the move to verify, did not show up on the day and time. When the time came and went, my daughter called the original movers, and he gave her the "I was just going to call you!" line, and told her they weren't going to make it. I quickly called Swift Moves and spoke with Justin, who reassured me the company could get the job done. They came out the next morning, with a full crew, and moved us within a couple hours. They were professional, punctual, and took great care with our furniture. Everything they had promised, they followed through with, and their movers were personable and considerate. I am so glad we were able to hire Swift Moves; they really helped us out of a tight spot. It's very reassuring to know there are companies out there that are true to their word.

The guys showed up as promised (a little early, actually) and carefully protected furniture. They moved down a flight and up a flight efficiently, and moved a very heavy adjustable bed upstairs. Would hire them again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is competitive. We don't pride ourselves on be the "cheapest". With Swift Moves you are paying for quality-we are going to show up on time with full time movers (no day laborers) who are going to do their best to be the best. We have cargo insurance, workers' comp and liability insurance along with all of the state required insurances. Thats the quality paying for!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial booking we do a follow up confirmation email and call two days before the move to answer any questions or adjust to any changes. We try to make the move as stress free as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience, experience, experience. Most of our movers have done 1000's of moves.
