We hired this officiant well ahead of our wedding. The ceremony offered was one that looked as if plucked off a website - very simple and rushed - nothing personal added even though we spent the time to meet with her. We decided to take matters into our own hands and write the ceremony ourselves to make it more personal and special. We sent her our updated copies and tried to work together to make it work as time was growing slim and the ceremony was approaching! Communicating was difficult - it felt like she just didnt get what we wanted - we wanted something special, personal, touching, emotional, loving, and sentimental - it was a wedding ceremony! At one point she sent over revision 2 after we were on revision 6 - just not paying attention to the details. As we were getting close, we were getting very concerned, but one week prior to the wedding, her grandmother passed and she had to travel out of state for the services. She called to cancel. She did offer a full refund of the deposit and all, and a sincere apology. She was always very professional, but just not what we were looking for in an officiant.
