About

Many couples tell me that I am much more than an officiant but a ceremony coordinator. I try very hard to be sure everyone knows ahead of time what to do, where to stand, what their cues were etc. I truly provided couples with all sort of information from sample wedding ceremonies, where to obtain a Marriage License etc. I try to provide helpful information that most people do not think about which mades it the best experience possible for the bride and groom and all of their guests. I am very pleased with each wedding ceremony and very pleased that many couples recommend me to friends and family. I have officiated at spiritual, religious, secular and traditional weddings in the St Petersburg area and the Gulf Beaches for the last five years. I am a Confirmed Pastoral Care Chaplain at a local hospital, Hospice Respecting Choices Facilitator and Licensed Notary. I truly enjoy working with brides and grooms to offer the wedding ceremony each has dreamed.

My husband and I decided to get married on short notice because my son is in the Navy and was able to come home for 2 weeks so it needed to be put together soon. Even though it was going to be quick, I wanted someone who knew what they were doing and could basically tell us what to do. Donna offered suggestions, advice, met with us twice, and we talked or texted several times within the week. On the day we were to be married, it was scheduled to rain and our ceremony was outside. She comforted me via text. That evening, she and her husband came over early to help set-up (we were doing a wine unity ceremony), and she also brought colored sand to make hearts on our patio so we would know where to stand. Oh, she also provided programs! Donna was available when needed, provided all the info we needed, and to me, went above and beyond what she needed to do, especially for what she charges. She was very professional and extremely caring and I don't think I could've found a better officiant anywhere.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not at all... My prices range from $150.00 - $300.00 depending on date, time and number in wedding party
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attending yearly bridal workshops to see what is new in the industry and my Clinical Pastoral Education is up to date with National Standards at all times.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a certified Hospice Respecting Choices End of Life Facilitator and a couple wanted to get married before the brides grandmother past away and ever since then I have made myself available to a few wedding planners in the St Petersburg and the gulf beaches area.
