FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I strive to provide competitive, fair, and upfront pricing for my disc jockey and live music service. Usually, your fee includes everything that is needed for a great party. I won't offer you an artificially low price, then charge for a bunch of add-ons that should really be included anyway, like the typical PA system, a microphone for announcements and speeches, MC work that includes introductions and announcements, basic lighting that will cover the stage and dance floor. If you have a really big party, I may need to charge for additional PA speakers and lighting, but that's entirely up to you. After all, a good party isn't necessarily defined by how much volume the PA can produce.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's all about finding out what the client wants, and trying to offer everything that is desired for a reasonable price. I will always offer advice derived from my years of experience. But, in the end, the client runs the show! If there is some extra room in the budget, adding a little live music is nice as well. I'm a professional musician, as well as DJ, so I can bring something a little more unique to the table for events and weddings on Florida's west coast and beyond.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a conservatory-trained, professional musician who has performed throughout Florida and the world, for many years. I've played at numerous weddings and corporate events, some with budgets of $500,000 or more. My music knowledge gives me a lot of tools to keep great music flowing at your big party. And, if you choose a "Live Music DJ" option, you'll really enjoy something a little more unique for your wedding or event.
