- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can price by the hour or I can access the work to be done and prepare a proposal with an estimated time and cost. I prefer to give my clients a proposed schedule. It takes away the unknown.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I started out thirty years ago resources were not what they are today. I educate myself just like my clients do today; internet, magazines, and home shows.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been very good at organizing. A friend of mine who owned an Interior Design Studio contracted with me to re-organize her business. It was a six month contract. I finished in three months. She ask me to finished out the contract assisting her. It turned out that my eye for color, my sense of balance, and my ability to spatially see the project made me a natural. Let's just say the rest is history. Including owning my own retail home furnishing business in Indiana.
