FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sherwin Williams always keeps us up to speed on the latest technology and we have great sales reps and I do a lot of projects and leaner so much just being in the field . I have worked with designers and study fine arts so I find out the latest as it develops . We love old vintage styles and contemporary looks , my art background and education in the design field seems to be a benefit , we love to read and study new ideas on all the social media and in the community engaging others. Im working on some inventions and so we are always in the state of creativity and talking with paint dealers and manufacturers and sales reps.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Im also an artist and it seemed to naturally intermingle together early on . As I was married and having children (4 now) I needed a practical career as well , and painting had many purposes in service and also creativity.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a vast array of jobs , maintenance re paints and yet custom work also . We do exterior projects as well as interior projects. But most common are re doing peoples exteriors , sealants , caulking , wall repairs and fine quality finishes. Total re paints are great transformations. It would not be uncommon though to do pieces and touch ups on existing items and protect the erosion areas . A real common job for me are interiors and condos, stylistic custom wall colors with trendy styles or classic looks with that classic touch. We understand the new and the old and we understand style and executing the bold . We are real good at doing a few rooms , focal points and the more creative projects where magazine quality is sought. But you get more for your money doing the whole things at once so we get a lot of that too . A lot of times once we do a few items for someone they call us back for bigger things, they can tell the difference .
