Introduction
Hi! I'm Kevin -a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. I've toured with Steven Dayvid McKellar of Civil Twilight and been a part of the Nashville music scene for over 10 years. I want to take your song and help you finish it! My ideal client would be a songwriter needing help with arrangement, instrumentation, and production.
One of my favorite things in the whole world is taking a beautiful song someone has written and adding to it with the utmost care. I never over-season with too much flare, always the right amount of tasty treats. I like adding things that have a vintage vibe, tape echo, spring reverb, but I'm down to work with the artist and match whatever sound they imagine. I am open to working on a song, ep, or even a whole album.
I am someone who has a lot of different hobbies, a jack of all trades but master of none. I have played in bands, produced/arranged for artists, made house music and DJed, dabbled in coffee roasting, film photography and painting...etc. I used to get down on myself for having this scattered approach but within the last few years I've learned to accept that's just the way I work, and following my curiosity has never let me down. I fully believe there is room for all of us at the creative table.

I asked Kevin to DJ my wedding reception in September 2013, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ! He met with us a couple months before the wedding to get a feel for what type of music we were wanting. During the reception he made sure all the songs were the perfect length and was very attentive to the mood of the crowd. He played everything we asked for specifically, but also other songs that were similar. He has great taste in music and we loved everything he played. Kevin was very professional and punctual! I've also been to some other casual parties where he was djing and he has some great remixes and fun songs to dance to. I would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a DJ :)

I spent a considerable amount of time searching for a DJ for our daughter's wedding in Nashville, and I am SO glad I came across Kevin's website because he was perfect for our needs! We had a very eclectic group of guests from all persuasions, some who would party hardy all night long and others who were not at all comfortable to be at such an event, and every thing in between. In particular, we were searching for someone who could help us manage the reception timeline (announce bridal party arrival, dinner, bride/dad and groom/mom dance, cake cutting etc.) in a casual, unobtrusive manner. We also needed someone who could "read the room" and anticipate who was on the dance floor regardless of the tune being played and who maybe needed a subtle "prompt" using a song selected to encourage participation, but not in a "cheesy" way. Having met with my daughter and me face-to-face many weeks before the wedding day, we were able to express our needs and learn from his expertise while getting too know him, which we really appreciated. Kevin did an amazing job in a cool, relaxed, yet professional manner, not orchestrating every minute but somehow being the hub to all of he activity going on. We additionally wanted someone willing to include a large number of specific song requests to a playlist that needed to be language sensitive to all ages, including both very old and very young guests. He helped us organize the timeline at the reception, and Kevin attended to all of our concerns and desires very professionally. He provided us with an evening of great, enertaining music that allowed guests to enjoy themselves nonstop. We had many compliments about the reception, and they always included the DJ and the music selected. Kevin was fantastic and I would not search any further for the best DJ ever-- book Kevin for your event and you will have no worries.

Kevin has been super professional, organized, and possessed a positive attitude even during the most stressful circumstances at a large scale week long event. Kevin was our Music Director + DJ for Nashville Fashion Week for 3 years and never let us down!

We hired Kevin for a graduation party and he was outstanding. From setup to tear down he was amazingly professional. We rented a facility that had in house gear and he knew how to make use of it all. He set the mood properly with light party type music as guests arrived then when it was time to dance, he kicked it up and we had a blast. I will definitely hire Kevin again.

I've had the pleasure of working with Kevin on numerous events over the past four years. Whether in his multi-faceted Music Director/DJ role at Nashville Fashion Week or coordinating music for one simple fashion show, his attention to detail and positive attitude always shined.
