FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free introductory session so that customers can set out their needs and requirements. I then stress my intention of working to help them attain their goals, a process which can involve maintaining computer contact between sessions. In those cases, I offer suggestions, editing assistance, or other support, at no extra charge. Also, my fee is per session, rather than a fixed hourly rate; so if a slightly longer session is occasionally necessary, the fee does not change. Further still, if students wish to work more than once a week, I will lower my hourly fee by an agreed amount - perhaps $2.00 per session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the introductory meeting, or at any time the customer would like, I can verify my academic qualifications by showing customers the certificates in my possession. In the early stages of our work, I have my students tell me what their goals and assignments are, and then I offer options and find methods that will help them attain the necessary standards. I work to provide exercises or processes that appeal to each student's individual mindset.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold 5 degrees. The first is a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy; my qualification was earned in 1965 from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in England, and was later recognised as a Bachelor's - by all academic authorities, including FSU. After working as a flight attendant for British Airways, and later as a secretary in Ft. Lauderdale, I returned to my studies and obtained: II) B.A. ENGLISH LITERATURE (1994-1996) The Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida Graduated Summa Cum Laude; GPA 3.98. III) M. Phil.
