Introduction: About Astro Travel & Tours, Inc. Astro Travel & Tours, Inc. began operations in September 1970 as a retail travel agency in Tallahassee, Florida. The travel agency quickly became the largest agency in North/Central Florida and South Georgia. Astro Travel & Tours began motorcoach operations in 1996. The first bus was a 1996 Terra Transit Turtle Top, a 24- passenger unit. The intent was for this to be a secondary service. However, due to the success of the Motorcoach operations, full-sized coaches were soon added. In 2002, the travel agency portion of the business was disbanded, and all efforts were devoted to the Charter Motorcoach Division. Astro Travel and Tours has continued to grow into one of the largest coach operators in North Florida and South Georgia, with a fleet of 15 units, including full size Prevost's H3-45s and Temsa Motorcoaches.
