Introduction: Hi there! Thank you for viewing my business and my profile. I’m truly grateful. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ MY PROFILE to know what kind of work I do and don’t do before requesting an estimate. And the more detail in your project description, the better! I will be forced to decline if I don’t have enough information. My name is Danielle and I’m located in the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida (born and raised in eastern WA state). But as long as you’re willing to ship your jewelry to and back from me, it doesn’t matter where you’re located! I’ve worked in the jewelry industry, both retail and wholesale, for over 15 years, all around the country. I’ve been designing and creating my own jewelry for nearly 10 years and creating unique, special request items for my friends and family as well as repairing pieces they’ve already had for years. I will never be anything but honest when it comes to my work as a jewelry designer and fixer...I take pride in being straight forward with my customers. And in life all around. I will not take the job if I don’t trust that I’m capable of going above and beyond your expectations. I’m not afraid to say what I can or can not do. I work mainly with beads (natural gemstones are my favorite), wire, Sterling Silver, Gold/Silver-fill, and metals with high quality platings that include a lot of pretty “antiqued” colors. Nothing I use will turn your skin green! I do not work with solid gold, platinum, titanium, etc. I can design, make, and/or repair practically any dangle earring, beaded bracelet, anklet, or necklace requested, whether it be on chain, beading wire, or thread of some sort. I’m also a self proclaimed professional pearl knotter, but pearls are not exclusive. Some of my personal favorites that I’ve made lately are natural gemstone beads on silk with a knot between each bead long strung enough for a double or triple wrap bracelet. These are unique and, because of the the knots, super durable. 😁 I know all of the basic and not so basic wire wrapping techniques. I love working with resin in bezels more than molds, for now. Show me a picture of a gemstone, I’ll name it. Hand me an ear wire, I’ll tell you the metal and whether it’s plated or not. I really dislike seed-beads...I do not own a loom, but I’m not unwilling to work with them. Unfortunately, I am NOT a metal smith, I don’t own a soldering torch, or any kind of torch at the moment so I can’t work with any metals requiring them. So that means no rings unless you’re looking for the wire wrapped kind which are beautiful in a different kind of way. 😊 I do hope to acquire all of the equipment and skills for metal smithing sooner rather than later. All in all, if you trust me with your jewelry piece whether it be something I’m creating or a piece of yours that you’re entrusting me with, I promise you will get nothing less than quality jewelry that I have put my heart and soul into.
