- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a straightforward hourly rate with no surprise fees and no deposit required upfront. Before we start any work, you'll receive a clear estimate so you know exactly what to expect. We also offer Half Day (4-hour) and Full Day (8-hour) block packages that are ideal when you have a list of projects to tackle in one visit. Materials are billed separately. Every job comes with our 1-Year Guarantee on both labor and materials if we purchase them, so the value goes beyond the day of service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a quick conversation either by phone, text or through our booking page where we learn what you need done. We schedule a time that works for you, including early morning and Saturday appointments. Our craftsman arrives on time, walks through the scope with you, confirms the estimate then gets to work. We protect your floors and furniture, keep the work area clean, and do a final walkthrough with you before leaving. You get a summary of completed work and a reminder of your 1-Year Guarantee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our talented craftsmen bring a combined 90+ years of hands-on experience to every job at Ace Handyman Services Tampa. With decades in the field, each has completed extensive on-the-job apprenticeships, manufacturer-specific product training (cabinets, flooring, windows, electrical, plumbing, and finishes), advanced lead paint training, and ongoing skill development in residential repairs, remodeling and installations. Their deep expertise ensures every project is completed with the highest level of quality, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability you can trust. All craftsmen are W2 employees, background checked and will show up in a uniform.
