- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have minimum purchasing requirements which are guided by project type and scope. This helps ensure I can provide the best service possible by giving my clients a comprehensive full service installation where they can relax and enjoy their new space without lifting a finger.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. C O N S U L T A T I O N All of our full service clients start with a consultation. During this appointment, we will discuss your project in detail, your style goals, needs, lifestyle, and overall vision for your home. We will perform a site survey and measure or scan the room with you, Either virtually or in person. At this appointment, we will discuss next steps and define the scope of your project. 2. C O N T R A C T + O N B O A R D I N G After we have a better idea of your needs and goals, we will Send you a proposal for services, and estimated product budget with a projected timeline based on our discussion. Once you've accepted the terms, signed the contract ,and secured your spot with a deposit, we will begin the onboarding process with a kickoff meeting to get us all on the same page. if you have a contractor, we will communicate with them directly and get everyone in the loop. 3. C O N C E P T D E S I G N in this phase, we will use the information gathered from the consultation and site survey to produce some deliverables for your review. we will use moodboards, inspiration photos, and preliminary renders to refine our understanding of your aesthetic and preferences, as well as communicate the vision for your space. 4. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT + APPROVAL you will be given the opportunity to make revisions to the design based on your contract. Once we settle on a design, we will start assembling your design binder, sourcing, and getting sample swatches together for your review. We will work with your contractor (for renovation projects) at this point to make sure everything aligns with your budget. We will work together to select finishes virtually or in person. we will get your approval on the final selections & design, and hand over your design binder to the contractor for implementation 5. P R O C U R E M E N T + I N S T A L L A T I O N For furnishing projects, we will begin ordering your furniture (paid in full prior to ordering), and keep you updated on the status of your orders. A local receiving warehouse will inspect all orders for damages thoroughly and warranty claims/repairs/returns will be handled before any furniture is moved in. For construction projects, we will frequently visit the site and conduct benchmark meetings to ensure finishes and fixtures are being installed as planned. 6. F O L L O W U P we will check in with you to make sure your project is running smoothly, double check contractor interpretation of details is accurate, and check progress regularly. our job is done when you are enjoying life in your new space!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is rooted in architecture and interior design and I graduated with a degree in kitchen and bath design from Virginia Tech. I also worked for a regional homebuilder as their in-house designer for 10 years.
