- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We only accept Cash or PayPal. We quote through ThumbTack and by phone, final pricing is given when we are there in person to see job. Stairs, elevators, type and the amount of loaded stuff all have a bearing on price. Here is an example. What would be cheapest to haul away feathers or a sofa? One would think feathers but depends, whether the feathers are in a bag or are scattered all about. A sofa may be a standard sofa on the curb or a sleeper sofa in 10 story condo with an elevator and set of stairs. Each situation is unique and the more info you give upfront the more accurate the quote will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call me personally and accurately describe your needs. I will then give you a price quote. We then schedule by you texting me your name, address, city, day and 2hr time widow. Once we arrive show us exactly everything you need accomplished and we will then give you our best cash price. Then we get busy. We move from job to job so just coming out to price isn't what we do. Before we schedule you will know a range of money and we are coming to go to work for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As with anyone you may hire, you find some are great, some are so so and some are downright horrible. Keep in mind anyone with a truck and trailer can claim to be a junk hauler.
