Chef John is incredible at what he does! I hosted a health retreat in Bradenton, FL this past weekend and he traveled to our AirBnB to give us an amazing cooking class. He is incredibly easy to communicate with before the event and listened to exactly what I wanted to create the perfect class. I asked that he create a menu of items to teach my girls how simple it actually is to cook great food. He hit the nail on the head! He taught us so many kitchen skills so that they leave not just knowing what to do, but HOW to do it. It was hands on the whole time. He took his time to teach us and gave us the time and space to ask any questions that came up. Not only was this class super helpful, it was FUN and something that my guests talked about for the rest of the weekend. Chef John has the perfect personality for this work because he is knowledgeable and a natural teacher, but he is also calm enough to ensure his guests have space to learn and apply. If you want to learn to cook better, Chef John is your guy!!

John hosted a private cooking class for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was exceptional! The food was amazing and he was extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend hiring John whether that be a cooking class, private dinner, catering, etc.

We had the absolute best experience with Chef Capponi for my bachelorette weekend! From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, responsive, and thoughtful—working with me ahead of time to craft a custom 3-course menu that not only wowed the whole group (13 of us total), but also carefully avoided all food allergies and sensitivities. He didn’t just show up to cook—he brought the full experience. Chef Capponi and Chelsea arrived with beautiful table settings, handled everything with ease, and even dressed on-theme for our celebration, which was such a fun and personal touch. Every course was delicious and perfectly timed, and he made our night feel extra special from start to finish. It truly felt like we were dining at a high-end restaurant in the comfort of our Airbnb. I can’t recommend him enough for any special occasion—this was hands down one of the highlights of the weekend!
