Introduction: I have been marrying couples on the Treasure Coast and Melbourne since 2014. Licensed and professional, together we will make your wedding your way! My goal is to make your happily ever after begin! For an extra fee, I can help with wedding coordination, organizing the rehearsal and day of getting everyone where they are supposed to be. This is very helpful and recommended for smaller venues and beach weddings where you have not hired a coordinator.

I wanted to select all the above options for Nancy, because she is that good. Work Quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value, and punctuality. I contacted Nancy quite a few weeks before our wedding day, she took time to learn what we wanted, what we wanted said, and did much editing to get it just right for us. She let us know exactly what we needed to do with the county clerk office, how much for her fee. Which was very reasonable. She walked us through every step, she is so sweet and caring. We would highly recommend her to perform any wedding. Thank you so much Nancy, you made our day very special. Sandy

We reached out to many wedding officiants, but only Nancy responded to us and we are glad she did. She was a perfect fit for us and we liked that she stayed in regular contact with us. She went out of her way to be available when she was booked on Saturday, the day of the wedding. Thank you Nancy!

Nancy was punctual and kind to everyone. But she dropped the ball on some major things. She forgot to ask our guest to sit after my father gave me away which caused our guests to miss all the important moments. My photographer struggled to get photos because guests were standing for the entire ceremony. Since Nancy was the first to walk down the aisle she was supposed to verify that the items for the unity ceremony were on the table. She didn’t and the items were missing. So when we started the unity ceremony one of the groomsmen had to run to grab it. That wasn’t an issue because we made a joke but in that time she didn’t notice guest were still standing and didn’t say anything. After we did our unity ceremony, exchanged vows and rings, then my father in law got the attention of a groomsman to tell her to ask guest to sit. By that point the ceremony was essentially over. The guest were told where to go. Then we had our first kiss and the ceremony was over. I’m hoping my photographer got a picture with guest sitting because we had a gorgeous tree as our backdrop and it looks wrong with people standing. When we came up with our script she asked if I wanted to have her ask guest to sit. I said yes since we asked the guest to stand we have to ask them to sit. She had it in her script because during the rehearsal she said it both times we rehearsed. Her script draft was sloppy and not in the order we discussed. I rewrote it so it was correct. She also called our wedding the cookie wedding which would have been fine in private but she didn’t need to mention that, this was the Baston wedding not the cookie wedding. That part was not in the script, she said it while waiting for the groomsmen to get the items for the unity ceremony. I wish she asked guest to sit. She said she has done over hundreds of weddings in the script and someone even joked with me and said I doubt she has since she forgot the most important part. I know the person was joking but it definitely made me upset I chose Nancy. The last thing that was upsetting was on the day of the wedding she showed up and greets my husband saying hi I’m the officiant nice to meet you. He said yes we met at the rehearsal yesterday, I’m the groom. I can’t believe she didn’t remember who the groom was, she only needed to know who two people were, the bride and the groom. Update to Nancy’s response: Nancy I was told you were asked to check for the bowl for the unity ceremony. Regardless, the issue was we had at least 2 minutes for you to notice that guest were still standing. The asking guest to sit was in your script, not sure how you skipped over that line. Also hard to not notice everyone standing if you’ve officiated SO many weddings. The sloppy script had spelling errors, not in the order we discussed, our dog is Thunder not Rocky, and ends with Mr and Mrs Hess which was my maiden name. Just sloppy to deliver that even as a draft to a customer. Also please remember who the bride and groom are.
