This past summer the Singer Island Surf Camp was proud to be chosen by the City Of Riviera Beach to work with their Youth Summer Camp Program. We had over 50 inner city youths ages five to fifteen join us for fun filled afternoons learning about ocean safety, marine animals, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling and making new friends! Some of the kids didn't know how to swim and we were extremely happy to be able to improve their swimming skills and confidence in the water. The events were all captured by the kids from The First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach summer arts program who came out and took pictures. At one point, between our regular campers, the city kids, and the church kids, we had over 100 kids of all ages and backgrounds all enjoying the beach together! Truly amazing!
