I have had Dr. Kingma as my piano instructor since I started college two years ago. I look forward to my lesson every week because I know he will help me improve and better understand some musical area of my playing. He is not a boring teacher. He is passionate about what he teaches and it reflects in his lessons. I like how he explains a concept during a lesson, and also demonstrates it when needed. I find this helpful especially when I do not fully understand a concept.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my DMA, where I studied with Anton Nel. I earned his BM and MM at Rice University under the tutelage of Robert Roux. I've competed and won prizes at international competitions, so I know what it takes to perform at the highest level. My goal is to use my education and experience to help younger pianists accomplish their pianistic dreams.
