About this pro
Been working out under Rap’s guidance for 2 years. Excellent trainer who’s kept me going and safe even post surgery. Outstanding response time, great scheduling options, and clean environment. Couldn’t recommend more.Jul 31, 2018Verified
Rap is very easy to talk too, listening to your concerns & what your goals are. He takes his time & pays close attention to your form to make sure you preform each exercise correctly from start to finish & avoid injury.Jun 15, 2018Verified
Rap is an excellent trainer all across the board. He goes above and beyond in every way to assure that his clients are happy and most importantly healthy :). He taught me a great amount as he has extensive knowledge about the body, and was also able to give me great advice and guidance in regards to nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in the midst of a hectic college schedule. I recommend him 100%!Jun 13, 2018Verified
He was very responsive and showed me many correctional exercises to help with my injured knee and bad posture. The exercises were challenging and fulfilling without ever feeling overworked. I have recommended him to a few of my friends before and have no problems recommending him in the future.Jun 13, 2018Verified
I have been working with RAP for over 18 months and it has been a great experience. He has a good way of motivating you without being a drill instructor. Good trainer and good environment!! I actually "enjoy" going to my sessions...never thought I would say those words.May 7, 2018Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Ideally, speaking on the phone is recommended because after getting to know a little more about you over the phone, it makes the consultation go much more smoothly. The consultation/first workout will cover a lot and will be very informative for both of us! After learning some introductory information about you, we can find the right day/time to book your first appointment. You should eat a small meal or snack with carbohydrates and protein about an hour prior. This first session (consultation, assessments and first customized workout) is like 2 sessions in 1! It takes about an hour and a half. Based on how the first session goes, we can come up with a game plan and we can both see if we will be a good fit for each other and go from there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Ramon "Rap" Francisco is is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and a Golf Fitness Specialist (GFS) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Rap needs to earn 1.9 CEUs every 2 years to maintain his Certified Personal Trainer credential, but even outside of those continuing education units, he is always reading the latest articles and doing research on training, nutrition, and just overall health!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Rap grew up in a community of physical therapists. His mom, brother, quite a few other relatives and peers were or are physical therapists. Initially, Rap was on the physical therapy track at University of Central Florida, but he had a change of heart after having his first job at Gold's Gym in Altamonte Springs as a personal trainer. Rap fell in love with training and helping people live a healthier, more energetic life through exercise and lifestyle coaching. When he hears his clients say "Rap, my work days go by so much smoother now because I have more energy" with that big smile and gratification on their face, he says it is the best feeling. Rap says "It's extremely rewarding not just for my client for also for myself when they are so excited to see and feel the changes in their body and their health. I have the best job in the world, though it doesn't feel like one!"
