This allows us to progress you through your training program safely. It is our PASSION and COMITTMENT to get our clients to their goals with minimal risk of injury! If you jump right into heavier weights or other advanced forms of training without prepping your body or building a foundation first, then you are asking to get hurt! We also make it a point to go above and beyond for our clients through: -Motivational texts/calls -Nutritional and exercise accountability (outside of your time with us) -Advice/extra guidance when you’re struggling. -We also always give consistent opportunities for discounts and free sessions, etc...) The experience I’ve had with RAP Fitness has been nothing short of wonderful. Since starting my journey here I feel stronger, more confident and have toned up, all thanks to my awesome personal trainer Chris! Chris has taken into account my overall goals while tailoring to my needs during each individual session. He makes sure to ask how I am feeling and adjusts our workouts accordingly. He knows when to push me and makes sure I’m using proper form, which I appreciate as it prevents injury. Chris is patient, knowledgeable, flexible, kind and upbeat. He makes working out fun and enjoyable and I am so grateful for his guidance and support. Regardless of what mood I am in before walking into RAP Fitness, I always feel great walking out. The other trainers are friendly, the gym is clean and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and completely judgement free. If you are looking for a place to check all of your fitness needs boxes off, this is the place for you!

Ari is awesome! He is patient, kind, funny and truly cares about your health and well-being. My husband and I work out with him 3 times a week at 6am. We look forward to our time with Ari. The workouts are never boring and he makes it fun. This is our first time having a personal trainer and I feel luck we found each other.

Rap takes pride in both the content of his training and his dedication to each of his clients. He gives everyone there a personal experience and I know I can trust his knowledge over any trainer I've ever been with because he keeps up with new research and the evolution of his craft. I trust him 110% with my fitness goals, especially when it comes to form, balance, and posture because a lot of other trainers out there just care about you going through the motions of your sets vs actually teaching you correctly.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Ideally, speaking on the phone is recommended because after getting to know a little more about you over the phone, it makes the consultation go much more smoothly. The consultation/first workout will cover a lot and will be very informative for both of us! After learning some introductory information about you, we can find the right day/time to book your first appointment. You should eat a small meal or snack with carbohydrates and protein about an hour prior. This first session (consultation, assessments and first customized workout) is like 2 sessions in 1! It takes about an hour and a half. Based on how the first session goes, we can come up with a game plan and we can both see if we will be a good fit for each other and go from there!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Ramon "Rap" Francisco is is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and a Golf Fitness Specialist (GFS) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Rap needs to earn 1.9 CEUs every 2 years to maintain his Certified Personal Trainer credential, but even outside of those continuing education units, he is always reading the latest articles and doing research on training, nutrition, and just overall health!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Rap grew up in a community of physical therapists. His mom, brother, quite a few other relatives and peers were or are physical therapists. Initially, Rap was on the physical therapy track at University of Central Florida, but he had a change of heart after having his first job at Gold's Gym in Altamonte Springs as a personal trainer. Rap fell in love with training and helping people live a healthier, more energetic life through exercise and lifestyle coaching. When he hears his clients say "Rap, my work days go by so much smoother now because I have more energy" with that big smile and gratification on their face, he says it is the best feeling. Rap says "It's extremely rewarding not just for my client for also for myself when they are so excited to see and feel the changes in their body and their health. I have the best job in the world, though it doesn't feel like one!"
