About
I have over 15 years experience teaching the piano to students of all ages. My personal approach is to give the student all the tools they will need to make the types of music they are excited about. Students learn the rudiments of music while playing classical, jazz, popular styles, improvising and composing.
I enjoy sharing my passion for music with my students.

Had my first pianolesson last week, scheduled my next and bought my keyboard to practice. Dr. Ettinger was awesome & gave me the confidence to pursue this goal that I’ve had since I was a little girl. I look forward to continuing with him!

First time learning an instrument, and Dr. Ettinger has easily taught me the basics and fundamentals of piano and music theory. He is patient and explains everything in a manner where anyone with any level of music knowledge would understand.

My 9 year-old son has been taking pian essons with Erik for almost 3 years now. Erik is great with kids; patient, encouraging and fun. He's an amazing teacher and a mind-blowing musician; we're looking forward to our 4 year-old's turn to start taking lessons!
