FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always look for new interesting online tutorials to teach myself new ways to use Microsoft Word.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to write for a living. And I continue to write blogs, novels, and works of non fiction. in college, I was required to create many different versions of my resume and have them reviewed by peers, professors, and University alumni who come to the classroom specifically to provide critiques of students resumes. the nature of my work means that I must use Microsoft Word in very complex ways every single day. So, because I knew the ins and outs of using the word in my expensive experience re formatting and editing my own resume, it was only natural that my friends and family came to me for advice. And because I am a perfectionist, my recommendations would often drive them crazy. Eventually most of them would just ask me to do it for them. And I would do it for free. Eventually this became a burden, and I did notwant to charge my friends and family for my services. So I stopped offering my help. it was not long before a friend asked me for my help and offered to pay me. That was the beginning of my long journey towards becoming an excellent resume writer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients already have some form of resume to begin with. And most of my clients also know what kind of work they are looking for.
