We are very happy with mr James. He is great with our kids. The kids actually look forward to their lessons especially my 4year old daughter.
I took my first guitar lessons ever with Ryan, and he was an awesome teacher. He was patient with me and taught me all the basics with lots of helpful tips and advice. Ryan is a friendly teacher and willing to work with you on whatever you want to improve or learn about guitar!
Mr Washington is a great teacher. We hired him to provide drum lessons for a young man at our church. We have seen awesome growth in a fairly short period of time. He is very skilled, knowledgeable and patient with his students. If you have a child that desires to play drums or if you desire to play drums, you can find no greater teacher.
I've been working with Derek now for a few years and I have learned so much and have expanded my guitar playing more than I could ever imagine. He encouraged me to truly be a part of the music and song. At first I was afraid of making mistakes and he taught me that keeping the integrity of the song is more important than focusing on the mechanics of playing. I can't imagine taking guitar lessons from anyone else!! He is a very encouraging teacher and has an incredible amount of experience in the music industry. If you're interested in taking music lessons, I highly recommend contacting Derek Ferwerda!!
Mostai helped me with initiating the contact between me and my children's music instructor. Since I live on the border of metro Atlanta, I had a feeling that it was going to be a challenge to find a great pianist to teach my children how to play the piano. Mostai went above and beyond and found a great pianist--Lacie! Lacie is doing a wonderful job with teaching my children. My children are enthusiastic about learning to play the piano, and they are progressing to great accomplishments.
Brian was great with my son! He was professional, and talked to my son on his level. We are excited to work with him!
Abdala is a fantastic teacher that I took lessons with when I was the age of 16 through the age of 18. He was able to effectively take me, student who had been playing for 6 years, and bring me back to the basics and enhance where I was at the time. Through Abdala's lessons, I was able to learn the skills necessary to get into Berklee College of Music on a scholarship. Highly recommended for anyone who is seeking to learn the art of percussion the right way!
Our son took drum lessons from Danny for several years while he was in Jr and Sr High School. As parents we thoroughly enjoyed watching our son learn from Danny, a very talented and personable mentor. Michael is now a drummer in a local trio.
Since my son loves playing the drums I thought it would be a good idea to give him private lessons. After searching for some time my husband and I came across Lee Percussive Arts and decided to give them a try. Were so glad we did! Mr. Pickard is a great instructor who really knows his stuff. Thanks to him, my son is a better player and well on his way to being one of the best around.
Professional attitude, communicates exercises well. Great personality. Highly recommended.
Smok did a great job cultivating our sons natural abilities and we felt safe with his direction of our 8 year old. He was on time, professional, patient and made the lessons fun. I would recommend Smok to anyone wanting lessons as he has the ability to tailor them to any age. His industry and musical background were very helpful to the growth of my sons experience.
My love for drumming I want to share with the world. Teaching those how to enjoy and perfect the art of percussions is my greatest joy. Aside from instruction I also offer performance services for bands (corporate/party), and religious organizations.
27 year old professional musician Casey Crogan has been rising as a first-call drummer for performance, instruction, and studio session work in the Atlanta area over the past 6 years. Within that short time, Casey has toured the country several times over, recorded with countless regional, national and local artists, and has gained a positive reputation in the Atlanta community as a unique, innovative, and passionate drum teacher. Casey has experience teaching ages 5-65, from private to group lessons (Casey has been a camp counselor for Summer Music programs). Casey can travel to you, but he prefers teaching from his home drum studio (with 2 drum kits for enhanced visual learning)! Based within a fun, relaxed context, Casey has developed a natural teaching method that focuses on learning and understanding the building blocks of drum set playing, familiarizing and connecting these building blocks, and applying them to individual expression. He has the ability to take nearly anyone without prior drum set or rhythmic experience, and, within days, turn them into beat-playing drummers. His approach focuses on the following: * having fun * building an understanding and relationship with each drum * the basic rudimentary foundation of drumming * how to approach the drums, hold the sticks, set up the drums, and tune the drums * basic mechanical techniques * development of each limb * learning how to read basic drum charts and play to them * learning and playing the most significant beats and patterns in the history of drum set *how to play in a band *learning your favorite songs * gaining the ability to effectively teach oneself how to improve as a drummer
I provide drum percussion lessons for all levels and all ages, teaching concert, drum set, and Latin. I have a master's in music. My lesson studio is in Norcross.
To start, I've been actively playing drums in bands for over a decade. I love working with new drummers. When I started playing drums, I took drum lessons myself for years making sure to learn proper technique. Even though many people can play drums, teaching drum lessons takes someone that cares about the growth of their students. My goal is to teach you and get you excited about playing, learn the technical side of drumming, and also how to let lose and really 'own' it.
I provide snare drum services on technique, rudiments, stick tricks, timing, and more. I have been in the field of percussion since I was young. I love helping others learn as well as inspiring those who want to learn drumming in general. If you would like to receive lessons I am available monday through friday. I do not mind working with tight schedules if you have deadlines. Lastly, thank you, and I appreciate your time and patience.
I give drum lessons to anybody who is willing to learn and do not waste time. What makes my business is I put my heart in anything I do.
With more than 100,000 lessons taught the award winning Key Music Center offers experience, fun, and results. We are the only teaching studio in Atlanta to offer a free music assessment for children under 15 years old. This allows us to put the student on the best path based on their test results and saves parents money and increases the the students chances of success. "There is a difference between a great musician and a great teacher," explains the studio's music director Bill Realbuto, "and we only hire instructors that are both."
I am a recent Graduate from the Atlanta institute of music. I offer lessons for all levels of students. Currently an Assistant band director at St. Catherine's and the percussion instructor there so I can also offer help with concert percussion.
I am very involded in what my students do. I try to keep them ahead of the game in reading and playing. I want them to bring in here school music to their lesson. I know you will not find a full drum teacher as myself that can teach all styles. My youngest studnt started at age 4 and a half and she is still taking lessons fom me
