Introduction: Our sitters have a deep love and respect for pets of all kinds and it shows in their work every day. We know you'll see the difference in your pets' behavior when you return home from a long trip and see that they are stress free. We understand that caring for your furry family is so much more than simply taking them for a walk or cleaning the litter box. We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment when you are not home. We love meeting new people and spending time with pets of all kinds. This job gives us the chance to spend time with all the pets we wish we could take home with us but don't have room for! We are very happy to take dogs out for regular walks each day while their parents are at work, allowing them to stretch their legs and go potty so they're not cooped up all day. These pups always greet us at the door with a smile on their faces, knowing their new best friend has arrived to take them out! Cats, dogs, and pets of all kinds need care when their parents go out of town or just want to go out to dinner after work. We are very happy to provide them that care in their own homes, knowing they're so much more comfortable in their own environment. Its such a pleasure to get to know these pets over the space of days or weeks. Many of our sitters think of themselves as the grandparent or aunt or uncle of these pets. They quickly feel like family to us.

Our pet needs were not important to both Elizabeth or her Agent who called back today; the two phone calls I shared with them was confusing, missing any interest in my pets, and minimal help. But I kept trying. Elizabeth probably said 6 words to me the entire conversation...It felt weird to have so little interaction. I tried to explain to her our needs with the dogs, and gave a ball park schedule for the dogs/cats. I was very clear with each of them what our pets needed and how flexible we could be. But seriously, after 2 phone chats I am still not sure what I would receive for any of their services, except the prices. I was very willing to pay their prices and I've been to the website to read all of the service descriptions, but what I was missing was the human connection. I felt as if I was talking to a call center. Why can't our needs for a pet sitter fit our pets without pricing every little service? I appreciate a business where they listen, they fit their prices to help fit out needs for our pets. I received just the opposite...prices and very little personal service or concern for our pet's needs. I am not asking to gauge the company prices but I do expect to receive some customer service for those prices.

Hi Denise, I am so sorry if there was any confusion in the way that we answered your questions when you called for information. We understand that entrusting your pets and your home to someone is a huge decision and because of that we always try to provide as much information as possible to potential clients when they call. You spoke to myself and the owner, and we both have our own special needs pets with health issues - so we know how important it is to know they will receive the best of care whenever we can't be with them. We are a small woman-owned business, not a corporation, so each client is very important to us and we regret that you feel you were just a number. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We speak to a new client on the phone to assess their needs and location. We have the client register online with us to provide their pets' specific care instructions and schedule. We arrange a Meet and Greet to meet the family and pets and to get keys and more detailed information. From there we visit their home as scheduled to provide their pets with the love and care they need whenever the client can't be home themselves.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a dog with "Special Needs." We turned our lives around to help her get through tough times, and finding someone to take care of her when we couldn't be there was always a challenge. We started this business to offer others the services we knew we needed ourselves.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Clients come with a variety of needs, but we've found most people fit into one of these categories and we will specialize our visits to the unique care requirements of each furry family member. Mid-day Dog Walking - while clients are at work and the doggies need a potty break. Pet Sitting - when clients are out of town and need daily visits for dogs, cats, and pets of all kinds.
