About
I have been teaching piano for over 20 years. My teaching philosophy is to give my students a positive and encouraging foundation in all aspects of studying piano. I tailor my teaching to each individual's learning style and ability, as each student learns differently. I accomplish this with a well-rounded curriculum, which includes a wide range of repertoire, technique, theory, history, sight reading and ear training.
Every lesson is filled with many learning opportunities within a fun and productive environment. I am a member of North Fulton Music Teachers Association, Georgia Music Association, and Music Teachers National Association.

Renee has the right mix of qualities children require to do well. She is firm, but fun. She knows how to motivate students. She is very organized and provides many opportunities for the children to play in different settings as well in group workshops. All of her students are a joy to listen to. My daughter was mildly excited about piano until she started taking lessons with Renee. Now it's her favorite activity. Renee also gives parents helpful hints to motivate children at home.
