Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I enjoy personalizing classes to fit the students/clients which make for a unique and memorable experience. Talking about food and teaching others about food. We are foodies who teach other foodies (or would be foodies, we promise you will be a foodie when you leave! ) who share or passion!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Dixie Eats is led by chef and nutritionist Jennifer Franklin. Jennifer's education includes a degree in culinary arts and another in nutrition and her background is working in fine dining, catering and bakeries. We do private cooking classes in home for individuals and groups and on site cooking classes at the Cooking School at Irwin Street school. We do hands on cooking classes, catering to our students needs, skill levels and personal tastes and interest. Jennifer's first love is baking so we often get called to teach baking and love working with couples and groups.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what you want in advance and ask questions. Do you want a hands on class? A demo? What's your skill level?

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Most of what a chef does is not glamorous, there is a lot of planning and hard work involved prior to the class.
