There’s so much I could say about this decorating team, but to keep it simple they’re amazing. They turned my venue into something more than I could have ever imagined. Who knew an empty room could be so beautiful. Thank you so much for your service and I’ll be speaking with you in the future for more events.
Kori was super sweet and professional. We hired her as the decorator and day of coordinator. She handled both responsibilities well!

In a word Kori Shaw is AMAZING. From the moment I hired her she has been the most valuable asset of my weddingevent. She was always available via phone, text and email to answer questions and give me ideas from her wealth of experience. She helped my first time wedding officiant understand his role and met with us prior to the wedding to make sure we all knew what we would be doing on the big day and what her part would be, as well. The day of she was absolutely indispensable. She worked tirelessly from the moment she arrived until the tear down at the end of the evening making the venue look like the fairytale I had envisioned. She was so kind to have an emergency kit ready for me (which I used). She was always within "arms reach" keeping the event moving smoothly and prearranged moments happening without a hitch. My affair was a costumed event and she even came dressed in the theme. She made me feel comfortable and confident that everything would go as planned. And it did. My favourite "Kori moment" was when, as my husband to be and I were about to walk down the aisle she whispered, "take your time this is it". I could honestly go on and on about all of the thousand and one little details that she did/added/made possible but the easiest way to sum it up is that she is everything one should expect from a Day of Coordinator. Thank you for everything Kori! You truly are The Best.

Kori was Amazing! She always made herself available to answer questions. She is patient and makes you feel like your her only bride. She made my vision come to life. She is very professional, respectful but most of all talented. Everyone talked about how beautiful everything was decorated. And if you need an coordinator she is the person for you. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we typically schedule a 5-10 minute phone chat to gather details about your special event. Afterwards, we will charge a non-refundable design consultation fee and a custom design proposal is prepared and sent over to the client for review. After the contract is signed and deposit is paid we will apply your design consultation fee to your services as a credit, and we get started with the details of your special day!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my career in the wedding and event planning business by working at historic venue in west midtown Atlanta as the event coordinator. After training and learning the details of how events work I was promoted to the wedding director position and worked with clients for the details of their event from the contract signing until the day of the event. After 3 years at this venue I decided to start my own wedding and event planning company and Your Nuptial DOC was born!
